Whats a nice area for retirees. ?
Thank you for watching my videos and for your comment. Hickory is a great place for retirees. There are retirement communities throughout town and activities geared toward retirees. Contact me if you are interested in viewing the communities.
Limited night life lived here in hickory for 48 year's and unless you considered making laps around Walmart parking lot a night out yea its Limited as too 20 years ago when we had 4 of the biggest nightclub in the area. Hickory city forced them out

Proximity? Closest metropolitan area is Charlotte at a little over an hour away
@@joshuawattles5096 Thank you for your comment! Yes, Charlotte is about an hour drive. The mountains are about an hour as well. You can also get to the beach (coast) within about 3 hours.

@@tinaworrell6818 yes, we have Uber and I also believe we have Lyft. If you have the apps, you should be able to put in an address to see who’s in the area for service.
