the late 90s/early 2000s...it was an amazing time to be alive. the world will never be like it was then ever again. it's bittersweet, just like this song
Carl wouldn’t. he’s under the illusion that everything he does is golden. The man is an egomaniacal asshole. One of the nastiest dudes I’ve ever met and I had the displeasure of meeting him several times in the late 90s and early 2000s. He was always a dick to everyone around him his bandmates, his fans… Brett and Jeff and Kevin however are super super nice. Carl has continued the band with all new members under the same name and it sounds horrible
I was at this show. It was a big open field. Hot as hell on a summer day. I hung in there until about halfway through the Filter set. I had to find some water! I could go on and on about that show. I remember it very well. I'll cut this comment short and say I make an appearance in the crowd here- 1:50 I was the guy behind that giant in the wifebeater. I clap my hands and turn back to the stage after a mild mosh pit formed.
I have that exact guitar he's play. It's a mid-90's Japanese Buck Owens Telecaster. Mine is signed by Tommy Emmanuel. I still play it. Crazy seeing it here!
@@scottskinner577 I just saw Stained for the second time time about a month ago (with Korn) good show. going to see Shinedown/seether/Candlebox nect month
Holy fuck!! Ty for sharing this... I fucked up n missed RR STP n seen Godsmack next caz sevendust ( yo luv them most but fucked n should’ve seen more). Damn so many great bands growing up... 😁😉🤘
Healthy looking rockers. Love it! Had the biggest crush on Brett in high school. Layne Staley too. They both looked like Roman Gods. I only wish Layne could have chosen the sober path. 😞
My uncle got a chance to join fuel when they were teenagers but he decided cuz he had a baby on the way he still knows the bassist and the next time he's in Tennessee I'm going to meet Abercrombie so that will be very cool
I'm from a town 18 miles away from where this concert was. I wish they would bring it back because I was only 11 when this video was recorded there is no music like this anymore and I feel that 8 wish I could have been my age now then. Everything is shit music now lol nothing original anymore

totally agree! late 1990s were awesome.
no cell phones at concerts
@@cheesedip1 not true, by 96 a lot of people had cell phones, by 99 everyone had a flip phone.
yea but people rarely filmed concerts. Not nearly as much as nowadays anyways.
Drew Smith bullshit. I graduated high school in 2003 and no one had cell phones.
My god that singer is one beautiful creature...a very powerful aura about him.
He's like a mixture of Fergie and Jesus
I think Brett is incredible, so hot, handsome, and so confident!!!
YES!!!!!!
He was absolutely incredible live. Mind blowing. 💓
A-MEN.
This was vintage Fuel. No better music anywhere.
In this particular video his live vocals are amazing. I miss these days.
Brett always gives it 110% he leaves nothing on the table. This is prime Brett Scallions.
Damn they were good.
I saw them in 2000 one of the best rock shows I had seen, so much energy
I miss these times.
I love his hair like that. I wish he'd have it long again
I do too and I'm a guy.
If somebody wants to see "peak" Fuel, this was it. I think even the member here would admit this was their golden age

Def my fav singer from the 90s
Brett sure was one of the most beautiful men on the planet wasn't he? OMG.
Yes. God dammit I said that.
Oh hell yea!
i have no doubts about it

That’s awesome
Brett you and your voice are beautiful
Brett Scallions You And Your Grungy Voice Sounds Beautiful in your Post-grunge band
Was. Broke his nose smacking his face on Carl Bell’s guitar and had to have a procedure done to his nose that changed the tone of his vocals. 😐
Very underrated band

Saw them twice '99 and 2000 they were really good! So was Buc Cherry, Everclear and many others.
Saliva, Stained, The Toadies, Papa Roach, Filter, Candlebox ...... Damn dude you got me thinkin
@@scottskinner577 I just saw Stained for the second time time about a month ago (with Korn) good show. going to see Shinedown/seether/Candlebox nect month
Perfect drums
Kevin Miller was a great fit for the band. The hard hitting drums really made their songs shine. A shame he isn't with them anymore.
0:20 "AWW Timay"
live a lie
Thankful to have been a kid in this era of music. Born in ‘92 and proud!
You were like 10 lol
great song.can't go wrong with fuel.
They don’t make music like this any more. Brett in his prime!
I was there, seems like yesterday!
ITS BITTERSWEET, WHAT AMERICA AND THE REST OF THE WORLD HAS BECOME IN 2021 😐 BUT FUEL STILL ROCKS 😇😍😌

The lads were on fire there. (*_*)
Awesome, The Real FUEL ! ! (Brett Scatillons + Carl Bell + ..+ ) Maravilloso, El verdadero FUEL ! !
7 people must like live rap music.
It's crazy how much peoples music tastes differ. It's hard to believe people would favor rap garbage over this. 😎
@@brandonjohnson8635 How old and crotchety can you get? I hope I'm not this close-minded when I'm 55.
Vocals like the studio version!
Hey ! They live they sound very very very good ! Men !
Buck Owens Tele!
Love it!!
love it
Brett could be the love child of Kristen Stewart and Paul Walker.
0:20 he sounds just like timmy from south park! Lol
damn whatever they put in the milk was a mistake, we need dudes like this again
❤️🔥🎵❤️🔥🎶❤️🔥😇❤️🔥
He was so freaking hot then
❤️🔥🎶❤️🔥🎵❤️🔥
Is that a Buck Owens telecaster? Kick ass if it is...
I was thinking the same thing.
Was that the girl from teen mom at the end?

Wow. John Corsale looks like a strung out (more strung out) Billie Joe Armstrong.
