Brett is such an awesome guy. I remember the first time I met him in Memphis at 96x fest. Little did I know he was from my neighboring home town.

Got terribly drunk one rainy night in Harrisburg at Wanda’s and somehow ended up on stage with them when they did an acoustic set before their big fame happened. Only wish I could remember it!!! Very cool guys and one of my all time favorite singers ever! Actually all of them are amazing!

Yeah, I always thought Fuel had a southern rock vibe because he has a country voice. But they always claimed they was from Harrisburg Pennsylvania. Well, I was right because all of them but Kevin was from Tennessee. They just moved to Pennsylvania because the music scene was better up there and when they get signed they just claimed Pennsylvania.
@@nimitz1739 that could be true, I don’t know to much but I remember some interview and video about them and they were from Tennessee but the drummer I think. Been a bit.

I'm kinda surprised a band like Fuel - still great but way, WAY past their prime and with only one original member - would have a bus like this. That's kinda crazy.
They were on a solid tour supporting Everlcear. They don't tour often, so when they do, I'm sure they draw well enough to afford a bus.
A great band will never be "WAY past their prime".

I remember Fuel as a cover band right before they made it big. You could tell this guy was special. He was always the star of the show.

One of my favorite bands EVER! I am now fully convinced that melanin helps with aging because 20 years after my favorite song by Fuel I still look like I did back then but heavier and they look aged. Still.... All love! ❤️

I recall seeing Fuel's 1st tour bus when the band I was in " The Saloonatics" were where scheduled to open for them in 1996 at Flagstaff in Jim Thorpe,PA. As we were setting up, a tour bus pulls in. Now I'm thinking who pulls into this place with a tour bus. That's the 1st time I met Brett,Carl, Jeff and Kevin. All very cool, humble cats. They told us they just signed with Epic 550 and it was just the beginning. They took the time to watch us play and gave us praise. I've run into Carl and Jeff a few years later in Allentown and they still remembered me. Very cool life experience. Rock on Fuel !!!

This is what I call success. Not a flame so bright that burns and dies. This is a flame that keeps on taking new shapes re creating himself.... Achieving the highest order as a human.

amazing songwriter. Bit of a trash human being though sadly. Dude just can't seem to get over himself and can't seem to get off the drugs. I got to see those guys 20 times between 97 and 2004. Of those 20 times I got to meet the band 15 times and all 15 times Brett, Jeff and Kevin were humble and kind and wonderful and Carl was a drugged up mess who was an asshole to everyone around him. and it appears as though not much has changed because he likes to pick fights with fans on Facebook that support Brett and he tried to get Brett to sing on the new Fuel record that came out last year but he didn't want to pay him as a part of the band he wanted him to be listed as a "guest artist" so Brett said fuck off and went and made his own album🤷🏼♂️ damn shame. Because the only thing that would've been interesting about the new Fuel album is if Brett had been singing the songs
Brett has an amazing new band called Radiobot and a brand new album on the way in the new year. Their first single comes out next month❤

When does the driver sleep?
Typically, the driver gets a hotel during the day, so that they can be awake to drive the band overnight to the next city.
Why are they on before the toadies? Fuel had multiple big albums. Toadies had one big song
Heck I don’t mind a bunch of scallions on grilled cheese when I’m out in the woods
