When is the last time you cleaned your kayak? Did you know over 90% of my views come from non-subscribers? If you enjoy my videos please consider subscribing!
90 % of views from non subscribers.... yep, that’s the way UA-cam goes. And 90 % of those non subscribers also only watch less than 2 minutes. Again......... “this is the way” . Right now up here it actually is about -19.......and my poor Slayer Max is outside, on the trailer covered up and secure but under a deep covering of snow and ice. Can’t wait for when I can haul her out and clean her up in preparation for getting her muddy and bloody once again. Good stuff Ryan.
“This is the way” lol! Negative 19 is the coldest I have ever been. It hurt my face! That was in the mountains of Afghanistan! You stay warm. Spring is coming
Im looking to install a fish finder on my Native Slayer. I really want to put it on the left side but Im not thrilled about running the cord across the kayak. if you could do it all over would you do it the same way or would you do anything different? I plan on using the yak power acessories and control panel if your familiar with it.
I could always run the wires on the left side using a thru hull but I like knowing if I went to sell it I could just replace the sacrificial plate and be good. It doesn’t bother me at all and I feel like it works for me but I rarely take the seat off
@@RhinoJoeOutdoors i rarely ever take off my seat as well. Maybe 3 times since I bought it last june and it was usually because I was doing work on her like installing a new berleypro handle. I think I am going to do a through hull kit somewhere near end of the left gear tract. I would try to wire it through where the indention is for a tackle box on the side but i really like keeping a tackle box on each side they are just super conveinent.
Hey I have a question. Does the hole you drilled into the battery box void the warranty on the kayak. Just got mine and was wondering if you looked into that before installing fish finder?
I don’t think it would because that is where they designed the battery to go. You could ask your local dealer. Many people drill holes for installing components on their kayak. Usually if you have a warranty claim they ask you to saw the kayak in half. Check out Portuguesediesel on Instagram because he had to saw his Titan in half
Thank you so much for the advice. I will definitely look into it. I appreciate the answer. I asked the same question on a couple other videos. Just disregard. I enjoy your videos! Thank you
@@TrulyForgiven hey! No worries! Glad to help! Hope you enjoy it. I’m about to drop a video tomorrow on propel drive maintenance. Give it a watch so you know how to maintain the drive yourself! Thanks!

@@joshuahawks894 yeah that’s why I wouldn’t want one in that spot either. My terminal tackle boxes fit perfect in those spots
