- 5 Minute pillow bed is a simple and easy project that beginners can do without a problem. Need extra sleeping space and have extra pillows? Turn them in to a plush pillow bed. It's easy as 1-2-3. Happy Sewing!

I'm a grown adult and I want to make this with about 6 for camping or if I have an unexpected guest who can't fit on our tiny couch. I'd add a snap or two so the pillows stay in well but can me removed to wash the cover. Great tutorial!

What a great idea! I need a way to accommodate my little grandsons when they come visit. Since I already have extra pillows, this is a solution that takes up no real room. I just have to pack the casing in a drawer or linen closet. Thank you.

Would this be firm enough to lay on while camping and not having pillows bottoming out and your body touching the ground?
I suggest stitching the pillow cases so that they are smaller, that way the pillow won't slide. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.

I do like this idea but after a while or even a short time, wouldn't it go flat and consequently be hard and uncomfortable if used on a floor?

Why not take 3 pillow cases and sew them together.

The gap between each pillow will not give much comfort to kids to laydown on that pillow bed.
You're right. What you can do is make the pillow case smaller by stitching down the side. Doing this before stuffing the pillow should take that "gap" away. The one I made was perfect for my grand daughter. Thanks for your observation and for watching!
