Jim is such a fantastic artist and I love the way his mind imagines all the elements and can easily portrait them as I believe many of us can see them. I was very sad knowing that he won't be illustrating more HP books but I know he left is legacy in good hands 🤗❤ Thank you for your work and imagination ⚡
Jim Kay is doing a Marvellous job. His illustrations are the BEST. His oil painting works has very balanced but rich use of colour and they are not very sharp images which goes hand in hand with human imagination. Looking forward to the upcoming books.
What I like about Jim Kay illustrations of the main characters like harry, hermione, Ron they look completely different then the film actors. It makes the HP books visually by itself instead of relying on visually of the films.

I read the latest news 2022 for Order of the phoenix. Then Jim Kay only has two more books to illustrate in the series which are half blood prince (book 6) and then the final 7th book the Deathly Hallows. So his almost there!!! I can't wait till he has illustrated every book.
Illustrations are beautiful but they are less in the comparision to the novel. There are many teRMS who can described beautiful. After all its good not a very good like harry potter 1 and 2

Once the set's complete, i will buy all the seven books no matter how pricey they are.. I really like jim kay's illustrations

His illustrations are just making the life of Harry Potter world in life although movie have done it too with Daniel , Emma, Rupert.
