Great video it helped me out a bit. I just finished this swap and wanted to add a few tips for anyone else: - for the rear, I found it easier to just remove the rear stabilizing link instead of separating the sway bar link. Just don’t spin the link obviously or you’d be changing the toe adjustment. - for the front, you’ll need to detach the upper control arm and sway bar, and push down hard to get the old shock out. it went pretty smooth for me except for the lower shock bolt on one side. I got the nut off, but the bolt was seized to the bushings sleeve. I read it’s common for this to happen. Ended up having to use a small propane torch and beat it with a mini sledge hammer. I then replaced the bushing with part C2D4013 and a new bolt that I believe was 14mmx2.0x70mm long. - I am now attempting to fool the error messages on the dash, and so far what I’ve read is to insert a 1K ohm, 1 Watt resistor (got a 50pack for $6 on Amazon) across the two pin slots of each of the the old air strut’s harnesses on top of the shock tower. It will probably take more than that but that’s a start to getting the dash codes off.
Any thoughts on ride quality after installation? (2005 XJ8L - not looking for any added performance) Persistent air suspension problems have me wondering about the cost efficiency of repair vs removing the whole system in favor of coil overs.

Thank you sir. About to install these tomorrow night. 1500 miles away from home and air suspension warning. Read bag is split. So here goes…..!

How have you found the ride quality to be like after swapping to the coils? Any issues?
How have these coilovers performed since installation? Any issues? How did you get rid if the suspension fault light

Same
Me as well, I have a 04 XJR.
Thanks keep up the work
Will do my best buddy! Happy Motoring-Blair
How about the airline? Doesn't it have to be removed or sth? And computer... No lights on?
