there are a lot of mechanics in genshin, you will get 3 starter characters and later after unlocking some areas more, reactions are quite easy, i think of them a little like pokemon typings, dont build every single character you will get, they are not usually worth it, try out now characters and later see witch one you will invest in, artefacts are hard and not so easy to understand, the most iportant thing about them for now is get best main stat for each character form one you get naturaly, dont do domains and use your reasin on bosses for now, then farm books and wepon materials and the least artefacts, if you see something you can get, get it while you see it, later you will need mint and find yourself with 0 of it, when reputation will be available start doing them weekly, you will get faster compases for chests and finging gagets for oculy (the anemoculus act.) and most imprtantly have fun, if you need to use a guide use it, some parts are hard in world quests but you will get the hang of it, good luck ☺
I’m aware it’s a lot believe be been there done that, I am helping my friends in Genshin a lot and I already teached them a lot, there is just so much information at the start it can be overwhelming and sometimes the game doesn’t teach basics in important things in it, but I can’t wait to see you play more.
Good advice. But about building characters; Idc how their gameplay is, I absolutely love all the well-meaning, good characters, and I will pull and build all of them. I won't leave anyone behind. Also, NPCs like our beloved (emergency food haha) Paimon herself, Fujin, Jeth, Wagner, Jebrael, Dunyazard, Ellin, Godwin, Glory, Ying'er, and Madame Ping should be playable because they are a significant part of at least some of the story. And especially Tsaritsa, who could be on her way to redemption, because after all, she has good intentions even though she has atone for her unethical rule and foundation of the Fatui, and pay for damages done to Teyvat in her flawed "reform through war" approach to justice, peace, and overthrowing Celestia's oppression. Tsaritsa becoming playable would really give us her side of the story, how she was devastated by her losses in the Cataclysm and the archon war, and why she somewhat turned to the dark side. Also, I really wish that Vennessa was alive. I want to believe that she is alive, and she should have been a playable character. After release of Snezhnayah in 6.0, Khaenr'iah in 7.0, and probably Celestia in 8.0, imagine playing as Vennessa and overthrowing Celestia. That would be so cool
I have been playing genshin for 2 and half years now and Your video sure brings back some memories, more like nostalgia. Advice: Take your time on playing the game bro... Go at your own pace, especially when starting the game.
Hoping to write this as spoiler free as possible, the role of the Adventurer (real name: Aether, or Lumine for the female MC) is the protagonist, although not a powerful one. Especially in the newer quests, he's just... There. Another thing is, the archon quest stories starts to take their time after the Inazuma archon quest, thats because from 1.0 to Inazuma, they stuck with a 3 act quest approach, which pretty much makes everything feel "rushed", since the quest tries to go in different directions too quickly, also, complete any type of quest you can find, even the hangouts... Although, speaking of hangouts, some of them dont have the hangout character as the protagonist in their quest. Weirdly worded but thats how some of the hangouts are (aka: npc has a problem/story and the traveler + hangout characters solves/goes trough the story) Going back to Inazuma, during that period, Mihoyo/Hoyoverse were still trying to "troll", what do I mean is, putting oculi in insane places, impossible chests and puzzles that take a master's degree to figure out (seriously I still dont get the rotating stone cubes), if you find yourself struggling trough that part, its not your fault One last thing is, get in-game help when needed, on genshin's discord and such there's a help chat, put your UID and a high rank player will help you out (in Co-op mode) with materials and such.... BUT, Co-op mode doesnt help you everywhere, if there's a Hangout/story domain, you're out of your luck, gotta do them solo
Its so funny that this gives me nostalgia even though i only started playing genshin 6months ago XD. Ig its because i have already almost 100% everything but still. I recommend just enjoying the story and not caring about most things yet. Maybe watch few beginner guides but thats it. Most things you learn by playing. Gl with your journey :).
After you progress a bit more through the quest you will be free to visit other nations (except one). It may break your immersion and you will trigger a bunch of side quests, but the game won't stop you from exploring and messing around. If you love exploring, you may be very distracted from playing the quests, but take your time as the game does reward curiosity and straying away from the path.
@@onlyjeann You are welcome. BTW, the next patch is going to be the Lantern Rite which is a yearly even in celebration of the Chinese New Year and each year has a different quest, plus the option to select a free 4* character.
as someone who started playing in version 1.2, i originally started for the character aspect but stayed for the crazy lore. its such an indepth game its kinda crazy. i hope you enjoy playing as much as i did!! def one of my top games of all time (and goodluck considering youre like 5 years behind 😅)
As a 5 month old player at AR 54, i suggest that you dont try to speed up the storyline, since i myself did that, and i might have missed some very important parts, but yeah
I been playing for four years (so to be five) and I recommend taking it slow, just a little tip You can’t level up some characters(the ones from Inazuma ) as they tied to getting there in the story The rest you level up how much you want as so as you get them
i was playing genshin for like a year but haven't opened it since 5 months. No idea what is going on in that game currently. But this takes me back. Guess I will play it again sometime.
I wasnt playing genshin that much but smh this video pops up in my timeline lol If your channel has like 1 million views in the future, pls give a shout to my comment bro, u got this dawg
If you playing it in one it could be a little burdensome lol and genshin has a lot missions withh loooong text like TOO LONG so the best to play it it’s when you want it nanbsmshs juega con diversión y no por obligación!!
