I'm her defense! While i agree, cheaper ones tend to be way harder in my experience too. So pressing down just rips the paper at some point without giving a lot more pigment.
Yeh I agree I honestly (my opinion) thought that she was pressing harder on the expensive ones to blend more and lightly on the cheap ones for a different reaction so I think the problem was how she used it
With harder based pencil (less waxy/smooth) you need multiple layers of colour and then burnish them to blend. The expensive ones likely have a much softer lead and therefore deposits the colour and blends differently
Yup ! Right after this video I went to Amazon to buy some , and did not hear her say the price in the beginning so when I found out it was 100 dollars I was having a heart attack LOL ! Since , I can’t afford it I am just going to ask for it for my birthday ! Wish me luck y’all !
Cheap one makes Calligraphy look more pretty because it added some rough texture which is looking pretty good but for the drawing absolutely expensive ones..but if u insert pressure to the cheap ones it will become dark and smooth
I know you love posca paint markers but I want to inform you that they are not the only brand that does paint marker. MagicFly has some really good ones, they are not expensive, double sided, and come in soooo many different colors, also are high quality. I have both posca and MagicFly paint markers and I prefer the MagicFly ones. I think this brand is underappreciated and would love to see them in video. Love your channel!!
The expensive ones have great quality if you are going to use it professionally, but if you are a beginner, for school or on a budget then the cheap ones are more than enough! 😊
When blending up and down, try to use circle movements instead of straight up and down lines w cheap art supplies bc youre right, but theres a better reason why it looks sketchy. Using darker tones than you expected to as well then blending lighter will help. It doesnt always work this way but for cheap supplies never start light. It already has more wax, making it a less smooth application and seals your wax layers much easier. Dont press harder with cheap at first. Circle movements will save you as they penetrate the teeth of the paper. Diff mediums on paper need different processes
Yep both are good but if you put even more time at cheap if you are on a budget it is a helpful one it just takes time and a bit less more pigmentation and the wax different good and friendly for beginners, expensive is like if you seriously take art or just ur budget is wide and a more convenient way to do art, they both have pros and cons either way both are good 👍😊
I have the cheaper ones, they cost me three pounds (I'm from the up) and they actually blend very well if you press down properly. I'm not a professional by a long way and use baby oil too help it blend more but the cheaper pencils are actually very good quality for the price. I will say that the led does break easily and the pencils themselves do break in half sometimes but that just might be because I have an odd habit of drawing in bed and sitting on them.
I have a colorless blender, so I get a nice blending effect if I just use it over pencils or crayons..I recommend getting one if you haven’t already! I’m a beginner so it really helped! 😊
Honestly all i can say is ur my inspo .. i learned most art from u ... And when i would get bored i would so those ideas that u would do like those doodles n stuff
Expensive art supplies is ofc better but cheap are not that bad ..😊btw can you continue your name lettering series of your fans please..ilove your handwriting with those shiny metalic😮..can you do Tori only if possible 🙂..it will mean a lot ❤
I love both but if you see the cheap carefully then it will nice it is giving a different texture feel like foil paper when made a rough ball it is some place dark and some places lights not accurately I am saying according to me both are beautiful in different ways I am not saying she is wrong i am fan giving my opinion
HI!!! I ❤ your vids, I’m in love with Posca as well!! And I just have ONE request😅 May you please!! On April 6th…. PLEASE Make a “Happy Birthday Emma” PLEASE!! It will mean a lot to me since that day is my birthday 🥳❤ I LOVE YOU!!!
Hi I love your videos your drawing is amazing i love it so much you Always make me smile and happy you’re the best person I have ever seen you’re a artist and I’m subscribe to you:)❤
I'm not sure how much these are but there are some crayola pencils in a little case like set and they blend kinda like the poscas and they're soft! So, good for blending! Maybe you'd wanna try them out? ❤
My parents would probably not buy a £100 coloured pencils for me they would say it is to expensive for coloured pencils and normal ones make no difference.
Lia, I have a question for you...... where did you get the pantone boxes in ur vids??😅 I was trying to do the same thing as u and thought I could do that, too. 😊 BTW I love love LOVE ur vids. 💗
Im gonna be there for the cheap ones. It just looks like you barely pressed down kn the paper with the cheap ones,. You only pressed doen with the expensive ones😭✨ (My opinion, no hate) (I didn't cooy @StanClairo's comment she just typed down what came in my mind i just typed a bit different bc i also had that in my mind so)
hii^^ I really want you to notice me and I hope you do good in your future but with markers, do you use? Can you please link them? I really need those marker that to use^^ I will keep commenting until you notice me^^
Expensive art supplies are better in quality, but cheaper is a great choice if your on a budget or starting as a beginner!
@@liahansen umm
Esattamente ❤️
For the cheap ones you'd need to press a little harder and you can use acetone/baby oil/olive oil to blend it out better!
I’m gonna stand up for the cheap pencils real quick. It looks like that because you BARELY pressed down on the paper and it made my blood curl 😭😭😭
IKR LIKE-
RIGHT, RIGHT???!
EXACTLYY
LIKE WHAT
I'm her defense! While i agree, cheaper ones tend to be way harder in my experience too. So pressing down just rips the paper at some point without giving a lot more pigment.
As someone who can only get cheap pencils it's not the price that matters it's how you use it and what you use it on
Yeh I agree I honestly (my opinion) thought that she was pressing harder on the expensive ones to blend more and lightly on the cheap ones for a different reaction so I think the problem was how she used it

Wow, I never knew Posca did pencils! I guess you learn something new every day😂

for cheaper colored pencils use paper towels and rub it where you want the colors to blend! works every time!!💗
I love your videos, Lia!🩷
Your art is amazing even with cheap supplies. You're a real artist!!👏❤
Cheap one makes Calligraphy look more pretty because it added some rough texture which is looking pretty good but for the drawing absolutely expensive ones..but if u insert pressure to the cheap ones it will become dark and smooth
Both look awesome! 🤩
There are so many great quality cheap products, that's why i always choose low budget items

@guynamedrick4419 Um yeah I think so

Cheap pencil crayons actually blend really well, it just takes so time. I get great results every time

I like both. Love you ❣️
I loved the cheap one. Basically I used to like the expensive one, but, now I love the cheap one.
Amazing! ❤
I have a colorless blender, so I get a nice blending effect if I just use it over pencils or crayons..I recommend getting one if you haven’t already! I’m a beginner so it really helped! 😊

I love the shadows
That blended in so well the posca I love it ❤I also really like the cheap ones
I luv ur art... btw I choose cheap lol
OMG I LOVE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOUR VIDEOS. KEEP DOING WHAT YOU LOVE❤
The reason why the cheap one isn't blended, it's because u didn't cover the white spots, but for expensive u did cover the white spots
Honestly all i can say is ur my inspo .. i learned most art from u ... And when i would get bored i would so those ideas that u would do like those doodles n stuff

Groovy lettering style Lia cool
The Cheap one looks glittery ✨

I am not saying she is wrong i am fan giving my opinion
your art is amazing and i‘ve gotten inspired to actually draw more but can we talk about your ✨exquisite✨ music taste? like damn
one of the coloured pencils was not facing the right way( in the expensive one) like the others its annoying me😅. i luv everything else tho
This is awesome. Really good job here.
I love that she didn't downgrade the cheaper ones and still gave it its props
Beautiful
Thank you for sharing 🎨🖌💜🌸👋
This is so nice! Both pencils are really good for the price! But your art is the best from all!!

Following your channel from the last two years, interesting content!
I love arts and crafts on my channel too! very entertaining 😊
The hint of green comming through on the cheep side looks cool😊
I love your videos but you did not work with the cheap pencils enough to say they don't blend well 😭
u could dip a bit of water on the cheap colour pencils to get the same smooth effect
At least u know our life with cheap art supplies 😭
Someone said if you soak the cheap ones in warm water for a bit it will break down the wax a little and it will blend easier
The one flipped pencil will haunt my nightmares
This is so prettyy! I love your lettering
The upside down pencil enraged me 😅
I love your art and i do art too im 11 and im a new sub here😊
If you have cheap colored pencils you can use a colorless blender alcohol marker to blend them.
If you're not an artist, if you're a beginner, buying expensive won't help, first you've got to learn the basics.
Here’s a tip so I take a blender alcohol marker, and I put it over the color pencil, and usually that can blend it
THE WAY ONE OF THE PENCILS WAS UPSIDE DOWN IN THE BEGINNING KILLED ME 😭😭😭
Very nice 👌👌👌👌
Your colour:😢😢
Turboflex colour:❤❤❤😊😊
I'm not sure how much these are but there are some crayola pencils in a little case like set and they blend kinda like the poscas and they're soft! So, good for blending! Maybe you'd wanna try them out? ❤
Can you please do sandrine i love your videos
My parents would probably not buy a £100 coloured pencils for me they would say it is to expensive for coloured pencils and normal ones make no difference.
i feel like the cheap ones would be good for adding texture
Lia, I have a question for you...... where did you get the pantone boxes in ur vids??😅 I was trying to do the same thing as u and thought I could do that, too. 😊
