Enjoy and let me know if you like the slippers :)
Sorry for the French accent!
I followed your video step by step and now I have a pair of cool slippers that are super comfy. I have only ever knitted a scarf that came in a set with simple instructions. My grown kids now want a pair of cool slippers of their own. Thank you for making this tutorial for rookies like me. I feel very accomplished. God bless you!
Thank you for the wonderful pattern and tutorial. I look forward to making these. Also please don't apologies for the french accent. Nothing wrong with it at all.
l really appreciate your pattern and instructions. I made slippers for myself but my husband put them on and loved them; now working on another pair for myself. ( tip: I added a few squiggles of hot glue on the soles for grip so they aren't as slippery on our wood floors.) Thank you!
Thank you also, what a good idea, glue for traction on slippery floors, note that a DIY or at least a definite hack👍👊🏻
I'm so excited to finally find a slipper pattern that uses straight needles :) Your video is perfect since you not only give your written instructions but an actual video of showing it as you do it for enough rows each to easily understand. What a treat! Thanks so much! :)
Thank You so much Valerie for your very easy to understand tutorial on these slippers! I made a pair for both my Sisters and they both live where it gets cold so I am glad that they are so thick yet soft. They turned out so pretty.
I've been searching for a good pattern for slippers. Thank you, so much!
You have a beautiful voice!
Thank you so much for working with straight needles! It's as if nobody uses them anymore, when people have been using them for centuries! I'm going to use your pattern and make some slippers!
I made these for everyone in my family this year as Christmas presents. It was a great stash busting project. Thanks for the tutorial. As a visual learner, it's always easiest for me to watch and learn.
Can you knit it for a Men size 10 shoe please
I am not beginner. But I had not made a slipper your way. It is beautiful and your instruction is great. Please share your other works. Thanks
Just finished my first pair of slippers. Your instructions are easy to follow and my new slippers are going to be well loved! The OH now wants me to make him a pair!! Time to play with the sizing. Thank you so much xx
I have been looking for an adult slipper pattern for a while. Finally I found yours! Thank you for taking the time to make this tutorial step by step and visual demonstration. I also especially appreciate your written instructions. Side note, your handwriting is beautiful :) thanks again for sharing! I'm going to try this pattern now. Let's see how they turn out :)
I wear a US size 10 shoe and this fit me just fine. LOVE how quickly it comes together. thanks for the great video. I'm working on that cast on!!
Brilliant pattern, thank you so much for sharing this. I hate circular needles so for you to do such a fab tutorial for straight needles has made my day x

You have a beautiful speaking voice. Keep up the great work.
Thank you sooo much. I'm a real beginner knitter but with your tutorial I've just finished my first slipper.
Thank you for such clear directions. I have a pattern for children's slippers similar to this but I have always wanted to make a pair for myself and now I can. Very nice video and directions.
I'm working on my second slipper now. The first one fit perfectly!!!! I doubled my yard and made the ankle shorter and it's beautiful!
Thank you. This is a rare lesson. Slow and understandable. You are a star.
A great tutorial, well explained and clearly demonstrated, which is easy to follow if you're new to knitting. And the slippers are really nice. Thank you!

Beautiful slippers thanks for showing us your style of knitting and making it so easy to follow
I made these slippers last night. Your instructions were easy to follow and they turned out great. I also have a size 9 foot, and they fit me perfectly. I made them 2 tone green😀 Thanks for the video, I look forward to seeing more videos from you.💗
This is such a great pattern.I'm a beginner and I've made two pairs so far, and am now onto my third. Thank you :)
I would just like to say thank you from New Zealand. I found your pattern I use 14 ply wool. And am now making up to size 11, I am making them for people. And have shared your pattern with so many people here in New Zealand. It’s really easy to follow. Thank you for sharing.
Hello, I'm a Kiwi too and have made two pairs of these slippers but my son would love a pair, can I ask how you managed to make them bigger and how to adjust the pattern, thank you.
Karen Beagle, I actually use 14ply wool. 6-7 5mm needles size 7/8 5 1/2 needles and size 6 up to 11. I could have adjusted it but found with the 14 ply it works well.
Thank you very much for your reply, will give this method a go. Have a great day!

Wonderful instructions. Thanks for doing this for all of us visual learners.

Thanks so much Valerie Vincent, your voice is very clearly. I knitted already. Thanks again...
I really enjoyed making this! Thank you for such clear instructions and I look forward to more of your videos!
Thank you so much for this tutorial!! I had attempted Nola's slippers but could not understand the tongue portion. I finished one pair using your tutorial and am now doing a pair for my mother in law for Christmas. You are my hero for decoding this!
You should never apologize for your accent .I think the sound of your voice is charming and your slippers are wonderful. Great video.
More videos please!!! I love this pattern and you explain it so well.
Thank you- a wonderful easy pattern...can't wait to make a pair!
Thank you so ch. just made the first slipper. You did a wonderful job with the video. I love the slipper!
Thank you for this, I've just knitted a pair and they are sooooo warm x
Good video and supporting instructions, thank you! I just made my first pair but unfortunately, they don't exactly match... the second came out slightly larger than the first. Starting on a second pair with a different yarn. Hopefully, I get a good momentum going and the result will be almost identical. "Practice makes perfect"!
Don’t apologize for your French accent! You sound wonderful!
good thanks
This is the best and simplest demonstration and I would like to thank you for sharing.
yes you made everything clear, thank you so much. I'm a beginner and it took some doing but I'm on the way to a real slipper with a real knitted heal! Thank you for sharing your expertise with us and patiently at that. Now if your able to do an adult sock video that would be sooo good.
I did it! Thank you for your lesson. Love your accent. Here is my slipper. Now off to make the other one. :)

Valerie, loved your tutorial! It is very easy to follow your instructions. I already made three pair, one for me and the other two for presents!
I found this to look amazing. I k1 p1 every row and it has a different elegant stitching . Beautiful
easy pattern and very enjoyable video to watch because of the soft voice, slow clear speech and concise instructions.
Can't wait to try it with multiple colours. Thanks for the very clear video and notes. Merci Beaucoup!
Is is a great video. You explain every step so clear. Step by step is important to those of us that must visualize before knitting. Would like to see more of your tutorials. Pat Kirsch
I forgot too mention how easy this tutorial was to follow, needed too add that, and the way you explained everything that you again⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️lol
Just did mine following your instructions! Thank you so much!
This has been very helpful. I knitted a pair in flat (very simple!) and then worked out a pattern in the round so I now have another pair with just the sole seam. I am so happy as this is the second most complex thing I have ever knitted and it gave me a lot of confidence.
love your patterns now I do the very same on 4 needles which I learned from my gramma but I love this also and going to try now mine of course is socks which is the same pattern as this thanks for sharing and you did a great job explaining I have 30 pairs done different patterens

I have had this pattern for some time with hopes to attempt. I found in a comment on Ravelry that this video was extremely helpful. This was wonderful and so clear and answered all my questions! These will be welcome gifts for Christmas! Thank you so very much!
Can you tell me the name of the ravlery pattern please? I need to look up the smaller size pattern 🥰
The pattern is called “Nola’s knitted slippers” by the Seaman’s Church Institute.
The best slippers ever! I can’t knit very well (still learning) and I managed to make these!! So happy 🥰
I can’t find English pattern? Help
@@shirleydavis1648 she has a lovely French accent but is speaking English.. 🤷♀️ I had no trouble following her instructions on the video.
@@sallyduke6236 I just tried to bring up a copy of the directions. I’m blind in one eye so I thought if I had written copy it would be easier for me. Were you able to do that?
Sally Duke Is their a seam on the sole of the slipper?
Whawww what a nice and easy pattern! I tried it and went good thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️👏🏻
I have just made a pair of these slippers. Thank you for sharing. They were easy to make following the excellent tutorial. I shall be making lots more in different colours.

Thank you so much for this pattern, best pattern I’ve been able to find as of yet lol!!! Well for what I prefer in a bulky slipper anyways lol. It’s brilliant!! I’m thinking it may be easier to knit up with circular needles?? Or maybe not, but I’m going to definitely give it a try, God bless and stay safe!!🌞
Thank you soo much ❤ I love your accent and I cannot wait to make a slipper 😍😍😍😍
This will be my favorite knitting pattern for slippers.
My favorite crocheted slipper tutorial is by: Yolanda Soto Lopez.

I fully agree with Alison’s comment. For someone that finds patterns still somewhat challenging, keep up the explicit visual tutorials.
