After watching the sixth episode of The Acolyte, I feel this show would have been ten times more interesting if Smilo Ren were the main character and the show focused on his fall to the dark side and Master Sol was his former Jedi Master. They are the only characters I care about.
But that's just me. Like the show or hate it, these two characters and their actors, Manny Jacinto and Lee Jung-jae, are carrying the show.
Several say the same thing. IMO focus on Jedi vs Sith. Cut out the twins. They make the action slow down and sag.

It's definitely Bal'demnic, and Qimir's previous Master was Vernestra most likely, she gave him that scar on his back from the whip 1000%
At this point Darth Tenebrous would have been about and so would have Darth Plagueis as he was well over 100 year old when he meet Palpatine. from the book Plagueis tracked down all of Tenebrous apprentices and eliminated them so not sure where Qimir fits in here?🤷🏻♂️

Yes I've read the book.. Palpatine was 17 when he became Plagueis apprentice and he told Palpatine that he was over 100 years old🤷🏻♂️

That fight would probably only last a couple of seconds as none of the caste is a serious match to a real sith lord. 🤗
Neither are real sith lords though.. they are more scientists than sith tbh. Like the force literally fled from Plagueis's body for that reason, he was hated by the force.

@@teuton215 Fair, I can't see Plagueis loosing to any modern Jedi outside of Obi-wan or Mace Windu. (Anakin excluded because he become Darth Vader.) Though Legends Luke would violate Plagueis.
@DanielMan420 yes legends luke is definitely top but I feel alot of people forgot sith are not like jedi. weakness does not survive in the sith if you are weak you die. Vs in the jedi alot of them grow complacent and none of the jedi of this time had conflict to make them stronger.
That's how I hope the show ends. The sith lord comes in and just dominates everyone, including smilo-ren. Then pulls a Bane and makes it look like Sol turned to the dark side. Seeing Plaguis just wrecking shit would make it all worth it.
Really I just hope it gets cancelled.
It'd probably have to be Tenebr9ss who does it since Plagueis by this time is still very, very young. Either way, it may be the only way to clean up this mess, by having the true Sith stage something and create a suitable narrative.

I think that Vernestra was the Jedi master of both Sol and Qimir.
I think the only other Sith we’ll see is Osha swearing her allegiance to Qimir as a Sith apprentice sadly. Disney won’t delve into Tenebrous or Plagueis , too scared to go down that rabbit hole

Smith master Tenebris looks like a butt head bug , I would freak out if I saw that in person.
I like the notion that Qimir, or whatever how real name is, was once a Padawan, but somehow earned the rejection of his master, who is likely Vernestra. Could it be a Luke attempting to strike Ben down scenario? Reeling from his rejection, Qimir’s pain is picked up by a Sith, potentially Tenebrous, who also rejects him, turning him into a twice expelled Force user who could be the progenitor of the order of darksiders Ben Solo comes to be a knight of. Might Ren be a cut-off form of renegade? A renegade order of Force sensitive rejects, neither Jedi not Sith.
I’m thinking Qimir fits into all of this like a maul figure, I’m guessing he killed a sith apprentice thinking they were the sith master, now believing himself to be the master.

2:58 I thought you said in a previous video that Plagueis himself sabotaged the droid and made it self destruct? From the way you’re describing it, it sounds like Plagueis came up with this on the spot rather than plan it the whole time?
In my head movies Qimir going back to his master only to find out his master has been killed by Darth plagueis. That or he's working for venamis and again comes back to find his master has been conquered
Also it hasn't been confirmed Qimir is a Darth. He could be any number of Sith rolls like a Sith assassin or some such

How about we get a video on the times the rule of 2 Sith were discovered by the Jedi and then The Sith fought and killed them to remain hidden.

I believe Qimir is the Acolyte himself, or at least a former one. If this is set a 100 years before episode one, it could mean a couple of things.
A. They plan on introducing a new set of Master and Apprentice, which chronologically would have to be the Master and Apprentice before Tenebrous and his master.
or
B: Tenebrous and Potentially Plagueis are currently the two Active Sith. In which case Qimir could be an Acolyte for Tenebrous.
Why?
Because Tenebrous is canon and in legends was Sith Lord for a century and was active during this period. Also in legends he tried replacing Plagueis. Though if Qimir's master really is Tenebrous there's also a chance QImir is Tenebrous's first attempt at having an apprentice. An Acolyte is basically someone who 'gets a taste' of the dark side of the force and from then on its up to a master to actually teach them the ways of the Sith.
Qimir has only shown to be able to force choke people, which as we've seen throughout star wars anyone who wields the force can do it if they are angry enough. That leads me to think he hasn't fully been taught in the dark side, and now the question is why? which leads back to the theory he is a either an active Acolyte or potentially a former/failed Acolyte.
The fact he tried to keep hidden, but the second he got discovered he openly admitted to being Sith, shows me that he had some kind of respect for the rule but ultimately doesn't care about it. I would imagine his master is the one that put that kind of notion in his head.
Another KEY point is the fact he hid his identity from his apprentice. In my opinion his reasoning was one of three things.
1. Qimir didn't want his master knowing he had a pupil on the chance she was discovered.
2. He did not want his FORMER master finding her and torturing the information out of her, so that he can find Qimir and tie up a Sith loose end.
3. Qimir doesn't know/never knew who his Master was because, like I said in the beginning, Qimir is actually the Acolyte being hidden from a master or another apprentice, and not Mae. Or Qimir could be the first apprentice of Tenebrous and ends up just being a failure or killed.
Basically my point is I believe Tenebrous is the actual Sith Lord in the background and Qimir is either his Vader or his Maul.

EDIT: IN legends Tenebrous went to great lengths to secure Cortosis mines. AFter his Death Plagueis lost interest in the whole deal. It would explain why Qimir has Cortosis armor.
EDIT 2: Tenebrous instilled the idea of the Rule of Two being useless on Plagueis as stated in Plagueis's novel (which is legends I know). It would play into the idea the Qimir could be his first, immature and reckless, apprentice.
EDIT 3: In EP. 6 Qimir states he was betrayed by his master and is looking for an apprentice for himself.
It isn't stated who won the fight though, but since Qimir has the scars on his back, you can assume he lost and probably escaped under the guise his master thought he was dead.
But a big factor pointing to Tenebrous. When Qimir stated he had a master and Osha asked if it was a Jedi, he slowly looked at his Cortosis helmet, and proceeded to explain how he was betrayed by his master.
Like I said before Tenebrous had a major hard on for Cortosis.
And he had TWO apprentices, in which he tried to replace Plagueis with another named Darth Venamis, but I could see them reversing the roles, and Qimir being the one who was replaced.
I truly believe the season finale will show either Tenebrous or Plagueis, or at the very least whoever the two true Sith at the time are, finally catch up to Qimir, or possibly hear he's alive and find him, and it will be a 'Obi-wan/Maul' style fight where Qimir is killed off. By doing that it would show what a true Sith, compared to a 'unrefined/Dark jedi' Sith truly looks like.
Oh man, THAT Bal'demnic? Intriguing! Disney will mess this up...

I have a thoery it’s one of the two planets that eclipse above Brandok there is a light one and dark one with ice crystals that form a ring around it like Saturn! I think Sol chases Mae she loses control through the ice ring and crash lands on either Brandok or the ocean planet above Brandok where Qimir and Osha are

Yeah I thought this after seeing the cortosis in the rocks especially when they said it was an unknown world🤨🤔 they have said they used stuff from legends as no one told them they couldn't🤷🏻♂️ to be honest why didn't they just do the darth Plagueis legends book instead of this absolute 💩show we have been given. That it would have been absolutely phenomenal if they just did the book as it's possible the best star wars book out there.

Definitely seems like it’s Bal’demnic and something that just came to me is that it’s entirely possible that if they go the Tenebrous route that they could give him a light whip lightsaber as well as making Vernestra a red herring. If this happened it wouldn’t break anything as even in legends we are never told what kind of lightsaber Tenebrous has plus from what I’ve read a lightwhip saber isn’t only a lightwhip but has more of a whip option

Its so obvious if you read even the first chapter of the novel lol. Its taking people like 10 days to put a super obvious thing together.
@@profo4544 Agreed not to mention Headland has mentioned before that she is a huge fan of Legends content and it looks like she may be proving it with the introduction of cortosis in live action and hopefully including either Tenebrous or Plagueis. The ideal route that I’m hoping for is Tenebrous or Plagueis with a tease that he is doing Tenebrous’s bidding. Then have the Tenebrous and Plagueis story play out in season 2(if that happens) and fix some the actual pacing issues

There’s a lot of issues with Ki Adi Mundi being in this show, according to the Star Wars Ep I inside guide, he was only 60 years old during EP I: TPM (32BBY) and this show takes place 100 years before that (132BBY) so based on that, he wouldn’t even be alive….

cortosis is very brittle, as we can see qimirs helmet get damaged easily. beskar is much much stronger. but cortosis can shut off lightsabers temporarily.

not that i dont love you shining the light on the legends story but this guyss information on Baldemnic is not accurate. The native species of Baldemnic deforested the planet themselves, it had nothing to do with the heat of the planet. Also Plagueis and tenebrous only needed envirosuits while inside the cave, not for the overall atmosphere of the planet. there's plenty more inconsistencies in the information presented here, anyone actually interested in the Plagueis novel should just go read it since almost noone ive sen discussing it on youtube actually seems to present the actual information accurately

I don’t understand how anyone can keep watching this show much less take seriously after it completely and with no respect to the lore of Star Wars, pulverized many important cannon events. This series is going to be shamefully and rightfully trashed from Star Wars. Maybe hes still holding out hope that the show will somehow stop sucking. He likes Star Wars even though the show sucks it’s still Star Wars. This show is supposed to be about the Sith which should make it awesome, but somehow Disney has made it suck. Just like somehow Palpatine returned.
He's giving you Legends Lore that ties into the series, so for those "who dare to like the show," might be better grounded in the deeper detail of the Star War's Galaxy that these beings inhabit.
