Whoa! Absolutely stunning. Don't know how you do it; best take-off videos ever! 💗😀
Any video of a 777 gets an automatic like from me! Very enjoyable.
Sounds like the Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines! ;)
Yeah it does a bit
Yep the XWB has a sound range quite similar to PW4090 at times
Nice sound of those Pratts. 😄😄
Im going to be flying on one of these beauties from Denver to Cancun in a few days
Wow, the engine roar is cool but the view out the window is breathtaking! Turquoise water, sunlit clouds; is this near sunrise? I'm going to watch this again for sure.
I just recorded and published a video just like this a few days ago! I love that PW4090-112 sound Escpecially with all of that thrust control to get away from what looked like a storm!
Can we also appreciate how pretty 2:15 is?
Beautiful takeoff 👍
Thank you @v1spotter !
I really enjoyed the video. Thank-you for posting it! I could tell by the wing that this was an older 777, since it did not have the raked wingtips. I’ve only been to Cancun once, as a stop during my cruise of the western Caribbean. I opted for swimming with the dolphins. I took my ship bought underwater camera with me. Of course, you can only take so many pictures of dolphins, so I switched my focus onto the lovely ladies.
The climb was most impressive to me, as the aircraft cloud surfed through the layers. The aerial view of the shore gave me an instant one line definition of Cancun: “Shoreline resorts that go on forever.”
Out of curiosity, I have a personal question for you. Did you use to work for Continental Airlines prior to the merger? I really enjoyed my flights on Continental. For at the time, the service between Continental and United were worlds apart. However, I’ve read that United has really pulled its act together, and I’m happy to have read it. I always love to hear about US industrial success.
Take care sir! As always, I look forward to viewing your posts. By the way, did you notice my name change from "C-990 Buff"?
Nice to hear from you Guerry! I didn't work for COA although I really did enjoy my flights on them including on DC-10, MD-80, etc.
Seems like the departure climb stopped for awhile - was that noise abatement for the Zona Hotelera?
Are you growling?
Good grief united please retire your 28 year old N776UA. Thanks for the video Max
