I’m old enough to remember when Taco John’s was the only place to get “Mexican” food in the Midwest. Great in the day, but the cost has skyrocketed past the value these days.
Taco John's was in its heyday in the late 60s to 70s . The quality and flavor of it's food and it's menu offerings began to faulter in the 80s, about the same time high fructose corn syrup took over the market and then GMOs. It was never the same after that. Sadly, it never will be. 😢
So true with just about everything now. What really floors me, is that companies now charge $4 for a 20 oz soda and don't even have the decency to use real sugar. The FDA should put a stop to them doing this practice with all the High Fructose Corn Syrup but our powers that be seldom do anything remotely close to what's right
Chat I’m sad my Taco John in Wisconsin too dry! It probably doesn’t get enough attention so their food just it around too long so it get bad maybe but they first time I got sick 🤢 I never see traffic with them. First time ever their extra open sign like gas station was off last night 😮
I live in north west Arkansas we have a taco John’s a few towns away my family and I have been going there since I was a child 😅the crunchy taco chicken and bean burritos with the oles ‘ are what my family likes the most
I had no idea there was one in northwest Arkansas! I was there 2 weeks ago. My son loves taco John's but we have only been to the ones in Colorado and Cheyenne
As someone who works at Taco John's, this is generally not true. However, there might be some cross-contamination. For example, the food maker might have some meat on their gloves, which can then get on the bean burrito.
It is good that Taco Bell has real competition. I think most of Taco John’s products are superior but … that is against Taco Bell not a Mexican restaurant.

It's a lot better than Taco Bell and the prices aren't bad
VEGETARIANS BEWARE of hidden meat! The bean burrito has meat even though it is not listed in the menu.
