Fantastic job guys , its nice to see a company that actually knows what is doing. Looks fantastic
Marvellous job. Can't imagine that being done any better. First class!
Could of started with a nicer bit of stone tbh thats 15quid ton crushed shit literally quite shocking
This is the best i have seen so far, great with a base of tarmac, last for years, the resin finish is quality with a solid base.
thank you , please subscribe for more vids that we are constantly posting, and have a look at our website www.resininstall.co.uk :)
Just watched the last of this video good job on the tarmac good job on the resin
Totally fantastic job done love it 👍👍👍👍
Looks really smart lots of groundwork too. I bet someone will find something to complain about but if you had done that job for me I would be really pleased about it. And if they say it isn't the type that drains there are garden around it to act as soakaways, and I thought that is OK as far as regs go. Nice work!
Beautiful. Love it. I want one
Gorgeous!
Superb job lads!
Sonny thank you for your comment pleas subscribed or more videos coming soon.
very nice finish
Love it, I'm planning to become a skid steer mini excavator operator
Keep training and I’m sure you will get there is no time 👍
I’ve been in the game a long time this is a perfect example well done boys

Good job lads nice to see a job done right

@@ResinInstall Your Welcome mate
how does the resin hold up to salt in the winter and if I spill motor oil on it can I get it out?
Can resin be applied on top of an already level concrete area ? Or must it go on top of tarmac ? Thanks
What happens, over time, with varying weather temps, and ground vibrations caused by parked vehicles and passing traffic, to the edges of the resin, where it butts up against the bluey dark grey edging paving blocks? Does it start to show gaps, as it moves away, in certain places, from those paving blocks?
Superb finish and a top quality job.
Love the final detail with the soil around the edges. New subscriber here. Chris the Englishman in Northamptonshire.
Thank you Richard for your comment it’s very welcomed .. and thanks for the subscribe we will keep posting new content 😊.
Nice job. 👍🏼
Great job 👍 how much poxy you need for 1sq meter ?
will really improve my drive which is currently concrete slabs sititng in dirt we dug out
Feel free to give us a call Martin,, 01254 492043
Pukka job lads,
Well done, from a wise old trowel
Thanks for the comment, please subscribe as We have lots more video content in the pipeline to post weekly 😊
how long after installing tarmac do you wait to install the resin
Could this be done on a whin dust surface.
How it’s done correctly well done lads
I like that you used a vibrating roller and not a whacker on the type 1. See so many sub bases correctly speced but inadequately compacted. Is the spec 150mm compacted in two layers of 75? Very tidy job.

Looks amazing, I own a roofing business Grp-roofing but we are so quitet, but would be sooo interested in learning it, looks very hard with Alot of ground work great video, but if your offering training courses all can give any advice, then I would be very intresested to learn kind regards Joseph sigley
How long to cure, before a vehicle can access it?
Surely using MOT type 1 means it’s not SUDS compliant? Wouldn’t a better sub base have been Type 2?
Can you apply this on top of concrete too, or does it gave to go on top of a semi permeable material like tarmac? Genuinely first class job though.
For best results on top of permeable tarmac as if you go on concrete and the mix’s aren’t consistent the resin can eventually crack
Can you use a whacker on the tarmac
What would you do with my patio? It's 2.5 M x 4 M. Concrete with a slope and needs repairs. I took the decking up which was in a bad condition. I would imagine after repairs to the concrete you'd have to put some sort of bonding on is and a levelling compound?
What ever you wish . Please can you email the office pictures and sizes along with your contact deals to info@resininstall.co.uk
lovely job. I have a concrete driveway that has eroded away the top finish, Is it possible to recover with this resin?
Thanks for your comment.. depends on a few thing’s, if possible give me a call and we can discuss your project 01254 492043. Thanks Zac
How the rain water will drain without drainage channels?
Brilliant Job guys. Do you cover Peterborough? I need same kind of job for a 64 square meters drive . Any rough idea how much it would cost please ?
hi im sorry for the late reply, we cover the whole of the UK feel free to call 01254 492043 www.resininstall.co.uk
This looks great. Is it permeable or is there a fall on the drive?
Thank-you for your comment, yes it’s fully permeable.
Looks a good job , my only concern is there are no gully’s or aco drains.
Hi Daz thanks for your comment, we have used a porous base so it naturally drained through the surface
Wow... Great team work.
That does look like it costs an arm and a leg for all the work involved.
What's the approx. square meterage cost on a job like this for my information?
Would very much like to have something similar.

Open textured base or not ?
Nice job guys 👍🏻 just curios though...How is the service from Derbyshire aggregates?
Hi Dave thankyou for your comment. The service has always been ok my end can’t complain. Not as if we’re spoilt for choice when it comes to stone supplies in the uk 👎
Are these products available in the US?
Just beginning to research resin bound gravel driveways. What are your reasons for laying it on tarmac as opposed to interlocking plastic grids with crushed stone?
kris mahboobani exactly what I was thinking it’s meant to be a pourous system making it a green option this would have been fucking expensive doing it this way
Interlocking eco grids sadly can cause shifting and cracking over time
What is the cost for a 19'-0"×23-'0" parking pad
permeable??
Where can i get a job like this
Seems like a competent job. Is it normal to put bonded resin on top of tarmac or are there other ways to form the base?
Cheap at £115 pm2....I've just had a rough estimate of approx £200 pm2 (in Hampshire).
How much did this cost?
Surely the membrane and tarmac make this non permeable?
My thoughts exactly!
Geo textile membrane is permeable. Look up Terram.
Brilliant job lads. I've got a concrete drive, instead of breaking up, could it be left down for a base???
Yes 💯 feel free to give me a call we work all over the UK 01254 492033
Zac

Does anyone know the longevity of resin? Not sure whether to go for tarmac or resin.
15 years if installed correctly pal there is no comparison to tarmac
Resin Install when u say no comparison do u mean tarmac better than resin or resin better than tarmac
Cheers
Karl
Resin hands down better than tarmac
What you charge for this ?
How much per square meter
1 roller to light
2 Type 1 at that depth should be compacted in layers
3 Not permeable
You should post a video of you doing it correctly.
@@alexanderturl There's always one!! Good response 👍
how much did it cost a meter square
Thank you for your comment. There are different factors to consider when having a resin driveway built please see this page i built on the cost of a resin driveway
www.resininstall.co.uk/resin-driveways/how-much-does-a-resin-driveway-cost.html
Where do you get the little tarmac roller ?
thank you for your comment and sorry for the late reply, I'm not to sure as I sub the tar to these guys but I will be sure to ask tomorrow , please subscribe for more vids that we are constantly posting, and have a look at our website www.resininstall.co.uk :)
It doesn't look very permeable to me , aren't all new driveway meant to be under Building Regs?
Hi grahman thanks for the comment, yes this is a fully permeable tarmac open base and topped with 18mm resin bound. Please see our channel on videos dedicated to how porous is resin bound :)
Cost ?
55mm of base coat tarmac cant possibly be 55 millimetres thick so how thick is the tarmac or should it read 5.5 mil thick?
No it's correct 50 to 60mm of base tarmac
Do you ever work with Addagrip porous resin products? We have a very large driveway we are surfacing, but must be porous
Yes we have worked with addagrip products in the past . Feel free to drop me a message with sizes and what your wanting to info@resininstall.co.uk or call 01254 492043.
Thanks
Zac
ua-cam.com/video/Rodgqv98E2Q/v-deo.html see our porous video 👍
What was the approx cost of this job?
Approx £115 per sq meter.
@@ResinInstall does that include removing grass and bass preparation?
My front garden is all gras and I want it all replacing with a resin driveway. Ta
Nice video!
Constructive criticism :
Time lapse doesn't show any detail and too much time spent showing tar mac roller.Apart from that great vid.
Thanks for the comment Keith , we have loads more content and lots to come please subscribe to see our latest we are aiming to post a new job weekly this summer
how much
How much would this cost?

You boys are shit hot 👌 well done fantastic work, I will be in touch shortly
Where’s all the water run off going ?
I don’t see any drainage & the substrate is obviously not permeable.
The product is fully permeable using open grade tarmac base. Please see our channel for our video’s on how porous is resin bound, example is shown with the same base as what’s in the video
Notice they don't tell you how much that job cost though
Need heavier roller
Any foundation for the pillars ??
dennisphoenix1 💯 foundations for the pillars I wouldn’t dream of building them any other way
@@ResinInstall you didn't show any foundation details in the video
Ahh sorry I’ll insure I get the footage in the next video we make with walls and pillars involved
Wasn't all that long ago people was having this done & then councils started ripping it up.
9:18 at this point customer wants driveway lights.....
How much did that cost?
Thank you for your comment please see our dedicated blog towards your question, there are so many things to consider that make the price different, but the blog will give you a good idea.

Those blues in the pillars really messed up the joints. Shame really as the rest of the job is top notch
Thank-you for your comment, the pillar were matched identical to the rest of the estate. Was not easy to match but we got there
How much a square metre
We charge £45 to £55 for an overlay depending on a few things , sizes , location ect.. feel free to give me a call 01254 492043
I bet it don't look like that now.
And what do we have here another Jealous contractor or customer with a ugly driveway that can't afford???
Hope the curb was dropped after too,
yes it was about 3 weeks later :)
Impressive
Shame about the ear worm backing music. Had to watch on mute
what is that blonde guy doing here, doesn't he supposed to be in the beach surfing?
Yeah he 💯 has the surfer dude look 😂, brilliant at his job so don’t send him to the beach just yet
Did he go to college to learn how to use that rake ?
How much
You should where a mask
We’re competitive with our prices, I know some firms charging 160+vat per m2, we WEAR a mask when cleaning the mixers after a busy few weeks of jobs, that’s the only time a mask is worn 👍
