Thanks for watching.
Love your videos! You inspire me. I'm 67 years young and need to get started rigging my half built models. Yes!
Thanks Richard, it's better to finish them later than never ;-)
Another winner right there! 👍🏻👌🏻👏🏻🥇🏆
Thanks
Stunning build FCM....
Thank you so much
Stunning
Thank you
Okay, I was thinking about starting my WNW Pfalz DIIIa kit, but wanted to watch your video first. Good lord.. you've raised the bar to a hight that's .. well up there with Mount Everest. Amazing stuff!
Thanks Mark, I beleive your build will be much better, up to the Moon lol😃
@@FlyingCircusModels I must respectfully disagree my friend since your work is pure art. You are an inspiration and I marvel how you turn Roden kits into prize worthy models. I just don't have the dexterity to shape those tiny metal pieces the way you do. But I sure enjoy watching you do it! The Airco DH2 you're working on now is brilliant!
@@markfrommontana thanks again, by the way the final video about my DH.2 build is done and will be posted this weekend, so stay tuned ;-)
@@FlyingCircusModels That's the best news I've heard all day although it's only 0750 hours here. 😏Can't wait for the bell to ring on YT later today! 👍
Another super job on the kit resulting in an excellent model.....I really enjoy watching how you pull all the elements together and seem to do it effortlessly. Great tip with the spokes showing through the wheel covers. Thanks for sharing and look forward to seeing what you have next for us.
Thanks, I already have an idea about the next build, stay tuned ;-)
@@FlyingCircusModels Sure will!!
Hello! Love your videos - especially this series on the Roden Pfalz D.III. I'm going to finish mine in a similar livery. I'm finishing the wings on mine following yet another video. It shows how to simulate doped linen wings. It's a pretty cool illusion. I'm doing this kit as part of an anything- WWI club build. Looks like I'll be up against a Wingnut Wings D. VII kit. Anyway, thanks so much for sharing your techniques - especially the rigging parts. Nailed the interior rigging thanks to you!
Excellent, thank you Jeff and good luck in the club build, I wish you to win that contest ;-)
I meant to ask, what thread/wire did use for rigging?
I usually use nylon black beading thread
@@FlyingCircusModels Thank you. Do you happen to remember the size you used for the 1/32 Pfalz?
sure, it's 0.2mm
Brawo piękna praca z niecierpliwością czekam na kolejny model z pierwszej wojny światowej oczywiście samolotu.
Pozdrawiam
bardzo dziękuję, oczywiście następnym modelem będzie samolot, mam na myśli kilka różnych opcji
So in his spare time, in between brain surgeries, FCS builds these incredible WWI models.....LOL...beautiful work FCM
:-)
Nice. My first thought when you installed spokes behind the wheel cover was that there wouldn't be a spoke there because that's where the air valve stem goes, but then you placed the spokes on the sides of the hole. Good little detail. What are you using for rigging? Fly fishing line?
Thanks, I use a black nylon beading thread, however I bought EZ line thread, will try that one on my future project
@@FlyingCircusModels I have some E-Z Line but passing it back through the micro tube is hell.
Will see how it will be, perhaps you just need to glue it to the hole and cover with piece of tube, just not to pass it back...
Is there a "rule of thumb" for placing your holes for the eyelets? It appears they go wherever there is a wing strut placement. Thank you
Usually I use pictures or plans as a reference material where to drill. But yes, the rigging goes from strut placements, because it's the most tough place on the wing
Do you ever get tired of hearing ......Great Job? Gotta ask ya, Are you using EZ-Line and if so what size....Heavy or Fine? Thanks and Keep doing what your doing Fella!
I will never get tired to hear it 😁 for rigging I use a black beading thread, that I bought at a craft store many years ago. I believe it's 0.2mm
Gotta ask ya, Why Just Roden kits?
Right now the prices for WnW are crazy, but I built their Fokker E.ll and Nieuport 17 was from Italery/Academy. I do have some WnW, Special hobby kits, as well as many Roden kits. I'm thinking about HPH and Lukgraf kits, but they are also pricy.
I've got 4 Eduard 1/48 on the docket. Albatros D.111, Fokker F.1 & D.1 and a Bell X-1 Mach Buster. UA-cam is a Great educational tool for this Hobby and Your channel is The Best for WW1 fighter pilot subject. Thank You for that, Much Appreciated Fella.
You are more than welcome, Eduard doesn't do 1/32 WW1 planes
Hi what guage needles do you use when you rig your ww1 aircraft please?
Hi, I used 0.6mm needle, so I think it's #23 gauge, however I switched to brass tubes, so if you can buy them - it's much easier to work with
@@FlyingCircusModels many thanks for your reply
@FlyingCircusModels Merry Christmas to you
thanks, you too, Happy Holidays!!!
