Good sesh. I always carry a roll of duct tape in my yak to try and patch a hole if it happens.

Thanks mate! Not sure how much duct tape would have helped here with such a big split. Luckily we managed to get it so it lined up with itself and slowed down the water ingress to make some progress down the river. Still had to stop and empty it a few times over a kilometer of river though

The north eastern part of the state has a decent number of rivers like this with cod in them (and countless more with trout)
