Honestly what these decks remind me of most is the MTG Modern Event Deck from 2014. Except that had terrible ultra pro sleeves, a worse box, no booster packs, and it had an MSRP of $75. Absolutely insane that even after 10 years of inflation GA can come out with not one, but two products that crush what I'd still argue was one of mtg's best standalone products (not including edh decks because they can take up the top 20 easily lmao). I really hope we see like one to three of these a year.
These and the starter decks for Sorcery are the best starter products hands down that ive seen. Other games seriously need to take note and we as players should be asking more from our products. Stuff like this makes the players really feel appreciated.
Totally agree, I might add FAB's Round the Table & Mistveil Blitz deck collection. Great teaser to the product and a great purchase for those who don't want to dip into the booster boxes (yet).
Love your enthusiastic yet realistic review of these products; my pov being a non-GA player (yet). Value for money on them seems insane. I'll check them out!
I have really been interested in Grand Archive. Watching your last few vids and this product review, I’m sold. I’ll be picking one of these up as soon as possible.
managed to snag the Silvie deck at MSRP at a local convention!! couldn't ask for a better way to get into Grand Archive, excited to take the deck to local events :D
Looks like a really awesome product. Love to see the full playsets of the cards included. Reminds me of FFG's LCG model, where you just buy direct playsets of a new set's cards from the retailers, rather than blind buy from boosters or go through secondary markets for singles. Hope more CCGs will adopt this model, for sure. Never played GA before, but I'm really interested in checking it out, and will almost definitely go for one of these soon (hopefully the market price can come down a bit first though, since rn they seem to sell for $100-130 😅)
Just picked up the Tristan deck and a few random cards I liked. Your video was helpful as I’m new to the game.. any thoughts on the card Penumbral Waltz?
@@RedZoneRogue Cool good to know, I picked up 3 because I thought the card sounded solid. I appreciate the response Now I just need to figure out what to take out for them🤔 Are these below cards something I need to pick up now before they get even more expensive? Or can I wait as I’m still new to the game. Or are their some I should prioritize sooner then latter? Dungeon Guide, Tristan ShadowReaver, Ensnaring Fumes, Sadi Blood Harvester, Safeguard Amulet, Windmill Engineer, Fragmented spirt of wind, Shadows Claw, Verdigris Decree
Yo thanks I just played the first time with a starter deck but I really like the basic understanding of the gameplay so far. And nice artwork on the cards as well.
Man wish I could get Grand Archive going in my area. We have a HUGE community at our store (probably 400+ customers easily), but Grand Archive just cant seem to get any significant interest. Im in an area that is HUGE into MTG, Warhammer 40k, Yugioh, Flesh and Blood, Pokemon, One Piece, and My Hero Academia. Regardless I like the game so much that I picked up some of the starters, and the first expansion set. Would def like to get more, especially after seeing this vid.
I got my Card Queen play mat and it looks great! I really dig the art of grand archive will definitely consider picking up these decks! P.S I LOVE MC LION!
I bought both decks and I love them. But I had an issue with the Tristan one. One of the dragon shield sleeves came severely damage from the factory. Weebs of the Shore did not reply to my e-mail complaining about the damaged product. The box of the Tristan deck came very dirty as well. It looks like the glue spreaded and made a mess. You mentioned the edge scuffing on the Tristan card. This happened to me several times already. I like Grand Archive, but I want WotS to improve the quality control of their products. If Grand Archive was an expandable card game, I would not care about this at all. But considering that this is a TCG with special cards that can cost up to several thousands of dollars, this is very concerning.
Have you been able to pick up one of these decks? If so which one did you go with?
Both😂
@wilsonlui6352 good choice 👌
Both, definitely both. haha
havent been able to find ANY grand archive locally....
@@SaintBriars where you at bro?

I'd buy these for every set and maintain a battle box
This is incredible. Hope FaB does something like this in the future.
I hope so too

The Sorcery starters are really great as well! 💯

Reminds me of when the Force of Will TCG came with 3 boosters, 2 dice, and a good starter deck with exclusive cards for less than $20.00
Pretty sure I have an old video opening and reviewing those too when they came out haha

Absolutely love to hear it!
I want one like this for Arisanna
YES 1000%
Found out about this game a few days ago. Just ordered both these decks. Can't wait to start playing
oh hell yeah!
@@RedZoneRogue Talked at least one of my usual commander pod players to try out the game

Got one of both and opened them the other day- absolute top tier product. Worth every penny and should set a new standard for other TCGs.
I only found out about this TCG at a convention last weekend.
They also had those boxes on display; too bad they are sold out everywhere I look :(
I sure hope the next Re:Collection set features Mordred or Nico, and Arisanna or Allen.
whats this playmat??? its super cool and i like it alot. love anime style playmats
That really is an awesome starter product!
FaB has a long way to go…
I'm new to grand archive and don't have a clue about meta.
So is this a good product (tristan) for competitive play?
Yes very much so!
Yo thanks

I just sad that this isn't available in my part of the world, are they still making these? 🤔

The game is growing quite a bit - hopefully it'll pick up more in your area!
I don’t know if I should get into GA or Shadow verse. The art looks great in both, and the gameplay is also enticing.
The recollection boxes are $100-160 now. Is there an alternative anyone can suggest? Buying singles?
I can Not find them any where !!!
T___T
ALL OUT OF STOCK !

when i first saw these, i flipped out... yugioh do better...
Why do people like underage girl art so much? Kinda weird.
