I’d love to be able to get a hold of some of this game but my LGS hasn’t picked it up yet, they’re mostly carry the big three and Weiss Schwarz(of which I collect and play) Shadowverse evolve and one piece tcg and I’m thinking they won’t carry grand archive because they probably feel the market to be a bit saturated at the moment, the moment I saw this tcg I’ve been wanting a game that isn’t MTG because I’ve played MTG since it’s inception back in 1993 and have been playing many other ccg’s and tcg’s for more than 33 years, this game looks awesome 👍
Sort of there are some really great reprints for Tristan in here. Zephyr and Dungeon guide in particular. The 3 BIG cards to upgrade tristan are Shadow's Claw, Tristan Shadow Reaver, and Sadie, which are in the previous set Mercurial Heart. If you're looking for those I'd just buy the singles extremely low pull rate on The claw and Shadow reaver
@ as someone who played FiZa quite a bit, I understand lol. Assassin is where it’s at, and that foil sudden deluge was a sick pull, I love the card already and I will be testing it out soon.
Wish the staples weren't so expensive and the boxes were easier to get... I can't convince my group to get into Grand Archive with me cuz no one wants to pay 120 bucks for a box, and the singles are expensive af... They definitely need to expand the distribution, or make it more widely available
To be fair the only staples that are still expensive is maybe Grand Crusaders Ring and Backup charger that you only need one of. Dungeon guides have gone down a bit and with more being opened should stabilize. With AMB they printed the absolute max that they could with their current company and there will be a second wave in December. I would not be surprised though if they are looking for another printing company since the game has been taking off.
@ryanoh4956 I've been looking at this card a lot. I think you want to play it when you're almost at lethal. Or when you can self damage yourself back below 28. Cuz you'll still die in endphase if you have lethal counters on Jin. I'd maybe play it in a deck that is mostly playing Jin level 2 and goes into Exia if it needs more time to win. I don't think it's good in Unga Bunga stack damage counters kill opponent
WoS wasted such an opportunity to release a new Ranger character with a bow mechanic. Some cool arrow and bow cards, but no Ranger = disappointment. Love the new art on the reprints, but if someone needs some extra Idle Thoughts or Fractal of Insight let me know....
my biggest complaint about the game is the sets are too fucking big, they could do 2 set releases by splitting their sets in half and it would make buying boxes/cases alot more rewarding. Buying as case and not even getting a playset of stuff is infuriating

Just got Tristan Re:collection. It's this set good support to upgrade that deck?

You play it when you have almost enough damage to kill you. It basically gives you a 2nd life

I'm sure we'll get another eventually! I'm glad to get new warrior and mage lineages since we haven't gotten that since set 1

You're not wrong, it's VERY tough to get playsets just from cracking boxes. You'd need 3-4 cases. I opened 2 and felt about halfway
