He’s my favorite American wrestler currently wrestling, I’m gonna miss him, JB🐐
G.O.A.T. AMAZING WRESTLER!!!
He's been great, but he isn't the GOAT. Both Smith and Baumgartner were more successful, and Snyder is on pace to surpass him by the time Kyle retires.
JB is an incredible wrestler and has been amazing for the sport- but can we be honest for a sec about the 2016 Olympics? JB was a 3 time world champ and at his prime, with a record of 130-2 in international competition and lost in the Olympic quarter finals to lower ranked Aniuar Geduev, then he got teched 11-1 by Bekzod Abdurakhmonov and ended up finishing 9th.
@@HD__Room112
That's definitely a blemish. I think he broke mentality and quit on himself, It happens. But the way he came back from that adversity is how I choose to see him.
@@vincentmitchell1237 Ya, sounds like an accurate assessment and it's good to remember his comeback like that.
Crazy to think JB is going to leave his shoes on the mats! Gold never gets old brother
The GOAT, big respect from Brazil 🇧🇷🇺🇸🤼🏻♂️
Well...I think Satiev and Medved may disagree...but he's definitely a stud.
Ayyyyy, I love Brazil. I'm American but I always root for Paulo Costa. I find him funny and entertaining when he fights like the Romero fight

So stupid that the Olympics only have 6 weight classes. We should be able to have Burroughs, Dake, Taylor, Cox, and Snyder all at the Olympics instead of 2 of the best in world getting left out.
Right! What a killer line up!
@@deanpeterson1006 yeah that's pretty much 5 guaranteed medals and a very good chance of at least 3 gold.
Legend
Man he was talking about retiring in a couple years at one of his camps this summer
People really needed to hear this
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Dude didn't get either of those.
Well deserved awsome career jb
No shoes left at PSU
Thank you Jordan, absolutely loved watching you. G.O.A.T
Oooff aged rough mate
He could lose to all of them and still be the goat and most decorated wrestler in American history.
Nah. Smith and Baumgartner were both more successful, and Snyder is on pace to surpass him by the time he retires.
@@rossogden9920 sure you can have an argument that they are more successful but my message said that he will be the most decorated meaning that he has the most world medals of any wrestler already in American history.
@@Profoundaj I'm not down on Burroughs. He's been great for the past 10-12 years. But Baumgartner has 4 Olympic medals to Jordan's 1, and has 9 World Championship medals, to Jordan's 8. At this point, Bruce is clearly more decorated than Jordan. The only way that Jordan passes him is if he manages to win the 2022 and 2023 79kg World Championships, then beats Dake for the 2024 Paris 74kg Olympic berth, and then wins the Gold medal. I just don't see all of that happening. Last time he sucked down to 74kg, Jordan looked slow, dried out, and lethargic, and was soundly defeated by Dake. I can't see him doing any better against Dake three years later, and three years older.
@@rossogden9920 good stuff, did not realize Baum had 4 Olympic medals👀, that's a legendary stuff.
I mean you didnt say just decorated you said goat which is very debatable. Pretty sure Jordan himself considers john smith the american goat.
He is a true champion
I am not ready he needs to stay jb 🐐
Too bad he lost to marstellar
♋️energy is different👽🔥
To be honest, wrasslin not kind to longevity and probably means 2 more major loses.Then... Why am I training so hard? I know, I know, Dake, Sudekov up their too.
Nope. Burroughs is washed at 74kg. He'll never suck that much weight, and still beat Dake. He'll leave his shoes on the match after losing to Dake at the 2024 Olympic trials.
Dake's Turn 👏 JB had a good run. Taylor has to wait another 8 years.
Wonder why he didn’t wrestle dake at 74kg this year
why would he? He had a much better shot at a medal a weight class up.
@@jjmarcos ya but he’s the last decades king. That’s his spot he lost for the first time at Tokyo trials . Shoudnt be ducking dake.
@@pursuitfarms he's washed, he's never beating dake again. But he's still good enough to win medals at non Olympic weights. For someone like Jordan who is obsessed with his legacy that was a no brainer
@@pursuitfarms he has one more year to try and beat dake, but he’s going have to go through a lot of top level guys. 74 is just a really hard weight class.
Well it’s 2024…see ya Jordan
He’s not beating Dake! Still the Goat! Time to hang it up!!!
Well he just lost today so its over now?
What perfect timing, just after he lost Final X this year…
Chance marstellar, right?
Noooooooooo😮😮
GOAT fr💯 JB
He’s 35. He’s gonna retire at 36. That makes sense. Intense sport. Going to the next Olympics as well is a bridge too far. Dake and Taylor are a few years younger. Next year is certain baring injury. Even for them, the next Olympics is doable but not guaranteed.
Great wrestler …can wait to see him wrestle dake again…still think dake will win though
Nah I think Jordan will win close. He’s Jersey tough . Built different
Yeah...Dake is just bigger and he's figured him out. I think Dake wins Olympic Gols in '24.
@@scourge8097 same here. Burroughs has been really good but i think he made it about himself after losing at trials to dake…bad sportsmanship that day and felt he showed bad sportsmanship at bts against askren. Askren would of destroyed him folkstyle IMO.
@@rremo2076 I have a HUGE issue with this. Bad Sportsmanship? How? I saw a few people say this. JB went and gave Dake a hug in the Tunnel and congratulated him. He didn't put on a big performance on the mat for everyone because he was DEVASTATED.
And if you know ANYTHING about Askren...I struggle to believe you'd say anyone ELSE was ever the bad sport. JB is one of the most genuine, humble people I've met in this sport. Askren...not so much.
As for who'd win in Folkstyle? Are you talking when they were both at their best or at BTS?
Because if it's the later, Ben had ZERO chance to be Burroughs in any style. If you're saying when Ben was a Sr vs Burroughs as a Sr in College, then I could see the argument for Askren. Askren had a better overall career without a doubt...in College. But he's not beating him in any manner of Wrestling right now. JB dominated him with shots. That plays in Folkstyle as well. Ben's hip and age...he's not on the same level.
JB is the epitome of how to Win with class, how to lose with class, how to be a competitor and he's been the ideal face of our sport. It's just clear to me that Dake has passed him up and I think the difference will be just as big the next cycle. But...I don't get the criticism of him as a person or his actions.
@@scourge8097 Folkstyle and Freestyle are different and no way Burroughs beats him in folkstyle also at BTS. Regardless its an opinion and at the end of the day its a sport and everyone has a chance especially a stud folk stylist like askren.
In regards to bad sportsmanship, if u hear other saying the same thing it must mean that for some he did show that. I saw him and i think he did but thats my criteria and seems others think so to.
he could of just had s bad day and thats it. Anyways, i like burroughs but call it like i see it.
Gonna be one hell of a coach!
He should have left his shoes on the mat after Nolf beat him.
Umm...Why did you say that Jordan won Final X??
He didn't.
But when you post stuff like this, it's initially hard for people to tell who won?
Please do better, less confusing work for your subscribers in the future.

He’s gonna beat Dake and Sidakov this dude is unreal
Burroughs is washed at 74kg. No way he can suck down that low, and still beat Dake. He leaves his shoes on the match at the 2024 Olympic trials, after losing to Dake.
@@rossogden9920 I’ve been surprised he’s been so competitive at 79kg I mean his double is back he had really surrendered to singles. Maybe you’re right though I mean I’m shocked he’s lasted this long
@@dangood2287 Yep, he's been great at 79kg. I think the extra 5kg has done wonders for his attitude and energy level. But the 2024 trials will be at 74kg. Last time he sucked down to that weight and took on Dake he looked dried out, and lethargic. I can't see him doing any better three years later.
Sidakovs gonna retire him mark my words
How?
Tell JB not to be a hack... and call a holding sinkget bs call...
Lost alot of respect for him...
Unlikable now...
Good riddance to the woke wrestlers
You call that a win. That was pretty cheap.
He lost!
