Union Pacific train on Arroyo Grande Blvd in Henderson, NV

Approaching the Arroyo Grande RR X-ing in Henderson, I was surprised to see the crossing activate, and block the road. Lone and behold, a short freight train crossed right in front of me!

How often do you see this train come by? I've been trying to chase this train for a while now and it's never running when I can get to it. Please let me know if you get this comment. From Railfan Brony.

its a local from Arden Yard in the southwest part of the valley, its on its way to the Timet plant near the junction of 215 and 515

@@shampoto8900 Actually I think it goes to pickup tankers from the Olin plant, and that a Locomotive brings The cars up to be picked up

Maybe we're both right lol. I think both those plants have rail access anyway. It could be equally possible that those tankers carry supplies for Timet's titanium manufacturing or for Olin's chemicals. But I can see the chemicals more, since there is a box car between the engines and the freight, meaning there could be dangerous and/or flammable stuff in those tankers.

@@shampoto8900 Both plants both have rail although timets is in pretty rough shape and is blocked by like 8 Chain Link fences. So i doubt it is used frequently and Olin has 2 locos and a ton of tankers , I have also heard a rumor that Timet shut down. I dont think it did considering it has a ton of cars and staff in the parking lots.
