What if the realm (the forest) that El'Jonson is using to get around IS some place new, basically a new Webway that the Emperor has been building for thousands of years, one separate from the old Webway and specifically made for use by humanity.
The metaphors of the shield seems perfectly coupled with fealty through forgiveness. The lion tapping into new webway like methods of travel absolutely necessary to get the rest of the chess pieces to come back to the board. Also it’s the only time I can recall that a primearch admitted they were wrong but also then set forth to rectify it to his lessers and who he should have been responsible for. If I’m wrong let me know.
It not like the webway. It's a different version completely. The Lion created his own pocket dimension. Like the Eldar had done. I believe the Forrest is the dimension the watchers are from. As Caliban was always a fixed point across dimensions, ie the warp, time its self
@@Not-Ken-MolestinaI agree with that. The watchers are involved with it or control it. It’s completely obvious Cypher has been given the same ability by the watchers.
Yeah primarch revelations are interesting but ...I'm sorry you're actually a Romanov?? Alexandr III was your GREAT GRANDFATHER?! Now That's a revelation...
Yeah, indeed I am. He's actually my 3x greatgrandfather. That's why occasionally I'll say something in Russian, even though I'm pretty awful at the language
The Dark Angels reforged the Lion Sword right after RG broke it. He used it during the Heresy. Leman Russ said he stabbed him with it after the siege of Terra was over. Cypher ended up with it after Caliban.
So off topic have you looked into the Carcharodon Lore? There's a potential plot line that could be pulled in the future involving them and the return of a forgotten primarch. I am a raven guard fan personally and I don't think that they are a successor chapter for us or anybody really. I know everyone says that their gene seed has a mix of raven guard and possibly nightlord gene seeds but I haven't heard a source for that its been a word of mouth thing that's been repeated so many times now. But that aside I personally theorize they are the 11th legion in exile waiting for the return of their primarch before fully revealing themselves to the imperium. Something else people who talk about them tend to overlook is how they will mind wipe people to forget they saw them and leave little to no evidence they were there.
This is a popular theory. I love it personally, but the main evidence people state is the Red Wake's size. But he wasn't the first master of the Space Sharks, so to me it isn't definitive, though I would love for this to be the case. Some of my favorite space marines. I absolutely love how brutal they are.
@InquisitorRomanov I don't think the Red Wake is the primarch cause if he was by their customs the forgotten would have returned then. The Forgotten One is definitely separate to The Red Wake because The Forgotten One's return is what will end their crusade of panence
Oh yeah...you're right! Yeah, if they return II or XI and they are the Carcharodons Primarch then that would be so out of left field, and so absolutely awesome, that it would complete surprise everyone. I doubt there would be one fan of 40K who would hate on it. Seems like a universally positive move. If a Space Shark Primarch tears out of the black cells I hope he just crushes Guilliman first and foremost, just out of principle, then starts running the Imperium.
If anyone missed this part the lost primarchs are the “lost and the forgotten”, thus the forgetting parts. The red wake is obv Alpharius tho, keeping the Legion warm while big bro is away.
Theyre called the unforgiven but they totally are forgiven. The fallen dark angels i mean. It just sounds cool... Also since the sheild redirects the damage up on it to the being dealing it... So beating someone with the sheild seems like it would make a feedback loop and like hitting someone with it would create a black hole. How does this shield decide weather or not it was hit or used as a weapon? Normal sheilds hit back with the exact same force that theyre hit with unless they break... But this sheild is more confusing than Capt Americas.
Keep in mind that it's the Emperor's Shield. I guarantee you that it has psychic components to its construction, thus letting it act however it needs to depending on the user's intentions.
@blam320 are you sure? Because I'm pretty sure it even mentions that the shield was pulled out of the lions secret forest realm in the video that we are commenting on even. I may be wrong but it's something I remember reading as well even. Hold on, I'll watch the video and post the time where it mentions it....
My latest compilation of primarch videos for my viewers who like the longer form content.

Yeah this is all true.
Still pissed at Guilliman for breaking it though.

Was the shield of the Emperor ever mentioned or depicted before this book?
It appeared in Arks of Omen first, I believe. Then it was explained in Son of the Forest.
I must have read a different book cuz the lion vs angron was one shield bash and that was it
Which book did you read?
8:37 you larping?
No
This is another area where Big E failed. He should have taken Magnus as well as Dorn to the homeworld to do the work needed there.
So true. I feel like he failed Magnus on almost every possible level.

@blam320 I mean, it's kinda 100 percent psychic... The shield never existed until the lion brought it back into reality from a dream or what ever.

@@dougjones3305 It's in official artwork of The Emperor, not other written media. You can occasionally see the tilting shield mounted on his shoulder.
