In 1964, nobody knew that these four young men had started a music invasion. Within one year, the Rolling Stones, the Yardbirds, Manfred Mann, the Who, the Kinks, Herman's Hermits, the Animals and many more groups found success on the world stage.
Lennon was rugged alright... But that's a long time ago and another period in time. Drugs make you do things you would not normally do I guess. May The Beatles live forever in our collective memories.

Marc Bastien They were not into street drugs at this point, the most they did was smoke Cigarettes and drink. This interview was in Feburary 1964 after they returned from their first trip to the U.S. they never starting Smoking Pot until August 64 when Bob Dylan introduced them to it

@@markmullins5822 I think they'd been taking "uppers" though from the early days in Hamburg to get through long gigs - mainly "slimming pills" etc.
He started losing weight around 67. He heard someone mention his weight, and he began getting skinny.
