the bow i'm using in this vid the same vicious-keenly jagged-attunement bow but with an elemental gem inside it instead. i use it against people that are full thrust resist like this guy
I People keep saying why don't he block. Because Blocking with a light shield is like picking up a trash can lid To defend yourslef against a slegdehammer. I have tried in the to run sns with a medium shield in the past. To get better blocking stability but it still bad , especially cause your like 1100 def if you try medium armor med shield

it's debatable blocking with light sns cuz he'll lose a dodge equivalent of stamina everytime I shoot a skill at his block. plus I can back up while he blocks even more so he won't have the pressure to chase me anymore
Yeah more so when he's already on top of you and he dodges instead of blocking idk it's a toss up I've seen some crazy good shield players pull of some nice blocks but it is risky in light armor
haha I actually have so much "bonus clips" that I'm probably gonna make an entire video for it soon. I'm tryna optimize the end of my videos and make them shorter so the algorithm doesn't hate me xD
lol you have to stam yourself and get away completely with the reduced hatchet dodges or else if he touches u once ur stuck again and can't reset. no point saving an extra dodge to not get stammed when that extra dodge distance is what's gonna keep u out of range
it's literally impossible to beat a good full thrust cheese sns/spear build with bow/rapier or bow/spear. gotta go pure rat mode to beat a braindead build like that
@@CILINKY fr^ these double melee builds have so much built in magnetism, homing and slows. i got no shame in using crutch builds against crutch builds. hatchet/bow definitely takes more "skill" than double melee
@@DeityVengy They really need to tune back the dodge distance reduction when getting hit by a melee swing. It's just way too rewarding to get a consistent slow without any DR just for hitting people. Worst change ever.
@@BRADLIKESPVP yeah its pretty dumb how braindead they made it. i would rather melee builds do 3x more damage instead of than this mechanic that just stops us from being able to function
medium same build would definitely struggle to keep up in open world. but in arena it would be the perfect counter against bow. gearwise i think its just 5 resil, skill perks, and physical aversion since he was so tanky. pretty sure he's 200 str, 150 dex, and 150 con.
if he blocks I can use a bow skill and make him lose alot of stamina while kiting back since he's light armor. so I end up getting more distance on him and he loses a dodge and can't keep up with me anymore
sns is getting 25% dmg nerf on all skill. fortifying perforate is losing stagger and will be useless on light so they don't be as tanky. and no u would not destroy me in your medium build lmfao good gap closing me with medium
@@DeityVengy that 25% of dmg on all sns skills are nothing anyway, if you think that any serious sns player is counting on that dmg as main dmg dealer, then you are wrong my friend :D stagger on perforate isn't big deal, cause we are getting extra 30% of weakness instead. Oh man, easy, trust me, that so far I have catched up many many many archers.. :)

I've never played his build before but- why isn't he blocking with his shield more? He just wants to close the distant with dodge faster?
