I planted 8 Texas persimmon seeds without stratification or scarification and they all sprouted

I thought they were similar to American Persimmons. The soaked seeds never sprouted.
What did you mean when you said you soaked the seeds for several months?
I soaked the seeds in room temperature water for several months. I did the same thing to American Persimmon seeds and they germinated after I planted them and began young seedlings.
However, the Texas Persimmons seeds didn't germinate. For the 2024 season, I plan on using different germination methods for these seeds.
@@shamrockgirl804 I planted 8 Texas persimmon seeds in pots without soaking and without stratification or scarification as an experiment to see if any would germinate. They all sprouted.
Look neat, but too much works for tiny little fruit.
