I LOVE Neji! He's my favorite character! In the first series he was the biggest a**hole ever! But in the Shippuden series I feel like he's way more caring for others.
Honestly, the reason why Tenten is still single because Neji is gone. She could have ended up with Lee but she just remained single. If Neji was still alive, the two gotten married already and had kids.
Lee isn't compatible with Tenten because she always saw him and Might Guy as annoyances. Neji was the only one on the team she felt she could connect with.

That's prob why tenten never got with anybody first off for the story line to make sense cause she wasn't seen as a character of relationship and she was left single because there was no more main characters. so for the story to make sense in my opinion tenten felt neji was the only one for her, so she didn't want to like someone else in replace of neji. :}
