Yep, I think that future improvements in the oral versions of GLP-1 / GIP drugs will be a huge game-changer, as a lot of people don't like the idea of needles.
Hi doctor how you I m from India my father is suffering from type 2 diabetes but my father using - dapaglifozin 5 mg according doctor priscription I really like u please tell me new drug for type 2 diabetes my father weight is 62 before diabetes my father weight was 85 in 2020 my father suffered from diabetes in 8 may 2920😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I started Rybelsus a few months ago. In January, a week after I went up to 14 mg/day, I got sick. Insanely sick. I was in the hospital for 2 nights. I lost 25 lbs in 2 weeks. I stopped taking the pills and I finally got better. BUT, after a few weeks of being off the drug, my hunger demon came back with a vengeance. Im going to work up to 7mg this time and not go to 14.
@TheNakul69 sorry. My wording was confusing. I was on 3mg for a month, then 7mg for a month, with no side effects. I went to 14mg and a week later I got sick.
Thanks. I have lost about 70 pounds using semiglutide injections and now moving into year two my insurance is not wanting to cover it anymore. (Since I’m below a 30 BMI now) So I’m hoping to maybe move this to this as a maintenance drug.
During the initial 60 days, I shed 30 pounds by using Rybelsus at doses of 3mg and 7mg. Yet, in the subsequent 60 days, I've observed no further weight loss while consuming Rybelsus 14mg, and my hunger levels remain unchanged. Is this lack of progress typical, and would it be wise to persist with Rybelsus 14mg? Thank you
I started taking rybelsus 7 mg a few days ago. My doctor immediately prescribed 7mg. the second day I was very sick. The third day I did not take it. The fourth again I did. I read everywhere that I should build it up and start with 3mg first, but the doctor prescribed 7mg right away. Can I take it like that every other day? I notice that this is better and it doesn't make me sick.
My doctor started me on the 3mg. and a month later prescribe the 7mg. so far so good no noticeable side effects and i have lost 16lbs. since i started taking it.
I do not have Diabetes, my BMI is 30 and I want to lose 35 pounds through Rybelsus (only Semaglutide I have access to is Rybelsus), is it very risky for non-diabetic person like me , can I go with Rybelsus as we do not have Wegovy here?
TLDR: RYBELSUS, an oral GLP1 medication, provides the same benefits as injectable forms for type 2 diabetes and weight loss, with the convenience of once-a-week dosing and flexibility in timing and food intake. 00:00 🩺 Oral GLP1 medication RYBELSUS was approved in 2019 for type 2 diabetes, not for weight loss, but it does result in weight loss. 00:39 💡 Oral medication for weight loss is less effective than injectable medications due to breakdown in the stomach, resulting in lower hormone absorption. 01:05 💊 RYBELSUS pill has a maximum dose of 14 milligrams, which is equivalent to 0.5 milligrams of injectable seatide, but there are ongoing studies with higher doses. 01:41 💊 Rybelsus in oral form provides the same benefits as the injectable form, but with the convenience of once-a-week dosing and flexibility in timing and food intake. 02:20 💊 Take RYBELSUS on an empty stomach with water, every day, and wait 30 minutes before eating, with higher doses in development.

you need to start at 3mg and stay on it for a month then move up - that should make it easier for you

Are the side effects of the oral version similar to the injectable version?
Yes. They are the same side effects. Mostly GI side effects (nausea, constipation and diarrhea).
