Hey everyone, Thank you all SO MUCH for the nice comments and feedback. I never thought I would get 10 views let alone close to 5000 at the time of commenting. Just so you all know I just released my 2nd Guilty Gear related video on how to play May. I really am hoping to get more consistent with uploading but I work full time. The May video will be a test. If it gets good engagement like this video I will continue to upload as regularly as possible. If it doesn't - I will probably remain sporadic. I put a lot of time and effort into these videos comparative to their runtime. Once again, thank you all so much, and have a great holiday season!
Played Ram first time today on a friend's console and after extensive button mashing against friends I've learned pretty much exactly what this video taught so I can attest that it's accurate haha
Just came here from another channel and I took away far more from this than his video. Actually taking a moment to pause and let people comprehend what they heard is huge. Maybe that other video was too much for someone just getting started, and wasn't ever intended for that. Thank you for sharing this and I feel like I'm ready to go press some buttons.
Even if I got 300 hrs into the game, sometimes you just want a quick and easy tutorial to pick up spontaneously a character and get some w, great video👍
After this video I've definetely noticed that most of my matches I win when I just have them in the corner, only took me this video to realise that was the case. (Also I REALLY need to get better at knowing how to time my attacks...)
I started guilty gear recently, notably i haven't played any of the games before. So the one thing I found odd is that the "auto combos" are on a repetitive movement input, just wanted to mention it.
THANK U! I play Tekken and Street Fighter and i find it really damn easier to say “forward punch” and stuff like that. It just translates a lot easier for me.😅
After heavy sword run up dust in the corner how how do you get the kick. I’ve mashed it out in lab and still never land the kick for the wall splat into 213hs same with the 2k2d 623p into kick they always miss
The core idea of how to play ram expressed in this video is still very much the same afaik. Some of the combos/conversions may be slightly different but overall I believe this guide holds up
Five minutes is to much for this character. You should do it in 2 or 1. This character is literally easy mode. Just rekka pressure your opponents in the corner till the get bored of blocking.

Guilty gear is the first big boy fighting game I've ever played, and this is exactly what my tiny little brain needs. Thank you sir
Same so much
Lol is baby compared to other games
The important thing I learned was "stop throwing sword midscreen" Which honestly makes the whole 3 min video worth watching
This is literally what a REAL beginner wants when looking for a guide, straight to the point also thanks a lot

I cannot state enough how helpful it is using real input names ❤
There's no way you have 58 subscribers lmao. This is big channel quality content
Hey thanks! I have some more stuff coming soon 😊
Thank you very much for a great guide!
I appreciate the approach you took.
I'm a new player, and the amount of stuff to learn is absolutely crazy.
Even long after you made this video I’m still learning so much from this vid. If you ever see this just know that I am thankful
The first 20 seconds perfectly explained me "trying to do learn too much at once making it become overbearing"

Even if I got 300 hrs into the game, sometimes you just want a quick and easy tutorial to pick up spontaneously a character and get some w, great video👍
Very high production value and great content !
“Stop throwing you swords mid screen” now starting wining my matches 😂
LITERALLY THE BEST THE RAMLETHAL VID! I AM NOW IN CELESTIAL WITH HER! A POG GUIDE
I'm late, but this is a great guide for a beginner.
Nice video, as a beginner its so overwhelming to hear people say things like “Start off with a 6P to 314H then 14P into j5H and end with a CD 6216H”
😅
I have come back to his video 8 times and I'm still shit, the guide is really good tho

This is sick, ty very much, I’d love to see a happy chaos guide, but I know he’s pretty difficult to explain lmao
Guarantee this channel is gunna skyrocket if you keep up these kinds of vids. I'll be able to say I was your 26th subscriber :D
Hey thanks I really appreciate that! I’m currently recording footage for my next character guide for strive so it should be out soon!
this video was so helpful, thank you
Skipped the most important step, eating the healthy dollop of led-based paint before each match.
I hope you can come back with more strive character break downs
What a great guide, I can't wait to pwn n00bs in Guilty Gear: Strive! :)

it seems the move is designed to expose my ass rather then cover it.
What people don’t know is that when you throw your swords from mid screen, the opponent will let their guard down and that’s when you punish them

I beat a VIP player after watching this.
i find Rams to have it really easy when i'm up against them as Ky.
so easy for them to win >.
run up and grab the sword before you super or it does reduced dmg
nice videos :)
esa canción de fondo no se por que me da tanta nostalgia xd

Hey man has this changed alot since the patches? Or does this guide still hold up? Thinking of learning Ram
The core idea of how to play ram expressed in this video is still very much the same afaik. Some of the combos/conversions may be slightly different but overall I believe this guide holds up
@@thejazziestcat awesome thanks dude 👍
