  • We tried different configurations of removing sway bars for a nonscientific experiment to see how much flex is achieved each way, We also show you how to remove the sway bars yourself. Thanks for watching!

Just removed the front sway bar on ours and created my own quick disconnect system for the rear. Thanks for sharing!

Sway bar is more for high speed open desert use . You have to set your machine up for the conditions you are using it in .

You would get a lot more flex in the front with a good set of dual rate springs. I have an XP Turbo which basically has the same suspension as you and after getting Shock Therapy springs, I noticed a huge difference in flex. I have 32's and it will stuff the tire to where it almost rubs the fender. The rear helped also but not as much as the front

Awesome video! With both sway bars remived, how fast can one go without any issues? I just do want to be left way behind by the pack lol

You can still go pretty fast. I would be more careful on pavement. If you ride rocks it’s well worth removing them. If you ride fast a lot you may want to leave at least one on. Hope that helps.

Great video. I'm going to do a comparison of removing the rear sway bar on the S suspensions.

Rugged Adventures I had a 1000S and removed the sway bar we also have a 900S in our group without one. It helps that machine tremendously also. I wanted to include the S in this vid but he couldn’t make it. Looking forward to your vid.

@@centralbamaoffroad8033 mine is an 800s but they all look about the same. I'm sure it'll help going slow but I'm interested to see how it does at speed.

@@RuggedAdventures if your going to rip around and drift the rear on corners , leave the bars connected. If your going to crawl and ride technical trails definitely unhook both. If you drift the rear unhooked you'll roll it for sure

@@Bill14886 I'm going to try it both ways. I'm definitely much more cautious ripping around corners with irs vs the straight axle on my atv anyway.

Jay Smith both of those in the vid are 2019. I have left mine off since I made that vid with no issues. As long as you don’t ride real fast on pavement. Which I do not. The flex is far better for rock crawling.
