I have a real one and it sounds absolutely different in comparison with Amplitube version. It doesn't sound the same at all. So no...

If you are talking about just this amp compared to the real deal then I wouldn't dare disagree. If you mean my playing and use of the amp, again I wouldn’t' disagree. If you mean AT5 as a whole, given you've spent the money, it might be worth digging a bit deeper. Especially if you have the same opinion of all amp simulation software. I know my results sound very different based on what I play back through. My laptop speakers sound like crap, my studio monitors sound pretty good but not as good as my PA which has 12" speakers. My headphones sound good but very different than how it would sound in a room.
Also the amount of signal coming in makes a HUGE difference. If it's too hot you can get clipping. If it's too low you can't get enough distortion. If your USB interface doesn't allow mixing to 100% of the processed signal it can sound disappointing. That was my initial issue. I didn't think any of the amp sims sounded that great. Then I finally realized my USB interface was always mixing 50%DI and 50% processed signal.
      Good Luck.

@@UncleTodMusic That's a very interesting insight. Which audio interface do you have? How did you set it up so it outputs 100% processed signal?
      Thank you in advance.

Sounds nothing like a real JCM Slash which I own.

Someday I hope to record some of the real amps and attempt an A/B comparison with the same guitar.
