- Creating a journal for a cherished friend is one of the most heartfelt gifts we can give. As I embark on the journey of crafting Barbara's journal for this year's Dephemerember, I find myself reflecting on the profound connection we share. I enjoy every single minute because I know she will fill this journal with so many special pieces of ephemera. She will not only share her ideas but also pour her heart into this journal during a time of year that is so special not only for both of us but also for thousands of people out there - perhaps even for you.

What an exceptionally amazing journal cover. It's wonderful, Luise. I especially love the addition of the cord with the kauri shells on it. Kauri shells are a symbol of the sacred feminine. The cover is certainly a labour's of love.❤️❤️❤️

Bless you for having the patience to do this, I don't think I would. So you are so fun to watch. I love watching Barbara too! I also love the denim portion, what wonderful ideas you both come up with!!! It's like you just mummified a wedding dress, so cool! The grain of the fabric, is what I believe you are saying, yes it is quite difficult to go against the grain.

Morning Luise, you made me cry today, the story about your grandmother and the dedication you also gave to Barbara. I think that the two of you are such special people and to be your friend must be a great honour.
