My problem is the not the 4 banger, the leg room, or the gaps between the panels. It’s the damn PRICE! It’s absolutely not right that Toyota is paying pennies on labor and not passing the savings to the end consumers. That is unacceptable, shady, greedy, and a spit on the face of the American consumer.

Purchased my 2022 OR for 43K. Purchased my new OR 24 for 46K otd. Find dealers that don’t do price markups. They exist. 😬
I'm still waiting to see what the market does, but if I were buying a car this week my cash would be going towards a ZR2 Colorado or AT4X Canyon. You just get more truck for the same price.

Price point is good. Toy has never been the low cost alternative. Resale value is excellent and don’t know what the problem is with reliability. And the competition isn’t a Toyota. You’ll realize that when it’s time to sell.
@@Nyhiakthat might change. But Toyota does have more control over their supply chain, less union issues, so Toyota can keep their vehicles prices more stable. Its the deep discounted sales from the other manufacturers that cause volatility in their brand prices and cause resale issues more than anything.
And you should complain about no power seats for $50,000+

Im going to have to save up for the down payment a bit, but I'm getting a Sierra. I hear people for jumping to the Frontier, but I figured i'm just going to jump to the full size and I love its look. I build one and its crazy nice with tons of features. Sadly I cannot afford a Denali yet :( Sooooo disappointed in Toyota, but I guess that new CEO has his own vision...even if it sucks.

Kenny the back seat is trash. It is what it is. They did improve allot of things on the new gen. Up front seating definitely better. MSRP is the deal killer. I've said it before and will say again its not competitive for the segment. With the higher bank rates and higher monthly payments most buyers will gravitate to more affordable options.

@@itsallminor6133 You can find Nissan frontier loaded P4X for around 45K with discounts. Loaded ZR2 Colorado for 49K. TRD Pro Taco's will cost 65-70K. A base SRD taco cost as much as a XLT 2024 Ranger with FX4. I'm just saying its not remotely competitive for the segment. Why are you comparing half tons in this segment. Many toyota dealers are already discounting which is UNHEARD of for Toyota. At minimum they are about 5K over the rest of the segment. With Nissan more like 10K. Which is a better truck IMO with much better build quality fully boxed frame at the Canton plant in Mississippi USA rather then the garbage at toyota at baja Mexico with all the workers quitting at their suppliers due to low wages. In short they are all crossing the border freely to make more wages. LOL. Toyota's supply chain is knackered.

When poor people work for a corporate company, get paid like garbage, you’re going to get garbage results. Think any of these Tacoma’s are sold in Mexico?Definitely not as much as the states. No way quality control is a focus. There just pumping out Tacoma’s like tacos. It’s a money driven company now, new owner. Don’t waste your money until they hit $25,500-$30,000 new. $50,000 for TRD pro fully loaded.

The only reason I would think about trading my 3rd gen for a 4th gen is being able to put 35s on without needing to trim the body. The price still needs to come down about another $8k.

I have an OR 2024. Relax, that glovebox will not rattle in normal or even offroad conditions.

I’ve been driving the truck the last few days and it really drives good but they definitely had some problems early on and I’m pretty used to the truck so I know how it drives I think in the city stop and go it can be a little annoying sometimes because it just doesn’t seem like, it wants to drive very fast. It’s like it knows the speed limit or something. Lol
