In this vid: Tyler learning the difference between biodegradable and water soluble.
Raw facts
2.12 months is not the amount of time that is relevant in the biodegradable marketplace right now. I think they're getting the go ahead on disposable products that only take 250 years to be broken down beyond recognition.
this is why he’s one of the realist youtubers
Wiley Brown X
Capapble of being decomposed by bacteria or OTHER LIVING ORGANISMS...please at least look up the definition.. I love your vids but... Cmon tyler
Tyler: alright I'll see you in 30 days
Tyler: so it hasn't been 30 days, it's actually been 8 years...
That’s what my dad said when he went on a Business trip
His beard's down to his knees...
@@davidnottennant1161 Come Together right now
David Not Tennant and he’s also got feet down below his knees
@@kianlong8777 bro my friends dad hasnt come back yet. Said the lines at the register is too long or something
Tyler's logic: Uses a katana and cuts really close to his fingers but wears gloves while dealing with water.
I know that shit had me cringing! I'm over here thinking he's about to chop his fingers off
@@chef_nick3022 same
@@chef_nick3022 Can you imagine, though?
"I left 5 of my fingers in acetone for 30 days!"
=Every 9th Grade Science Teacher Liked That=
Water kills thousands of people every year.
Like this to have him redo the experiment in soils! 🧔
for 1 yr
Moist soils from his yard with the bacteria teams and such set up already.
Yessss
Mud would be better than dry soil
Stop begging for likes
This involves mostly "eco- friendly"
Product bases rely on the nutrients and chemicals in the soil or standing water. Normal Tap water won't have the biggest effect because it doesn't have phosphorus, pure nitrogen, pure hydrogen, high oxygen, and many others found in soil. There isn't proper eco cycle to break down the product
big brain
Big peepee
I agree, with posts I left which should have included some of this. I only spoke of mud. Well stated.
Isaac Bailey No one said he wasn’t amazing...? They were just correcting him... I’m sure he’d want to be corrected so he can try it again
I was thinking the same thing. I think that there needs to be bacteria in there (you know, some kind of biological material) would degrade it. Maybe he should have put it in a water and yeast mixture. I think that "I left things in yeast for 30 days" would be an interesting video.
Why didn't you get out the electric hammer to break up those clays?
🤣🤣
Dead 💀 🤣
That things hillarious
😂😂😂😂😂
LOL
"Biodegradation is the breakdown of organic matter by microorganisms, such as bacteria and fungi."
You need more than water.
He probably also used chlorinated tap water which would slow down the process.
Yes thank you for telling him because if I did people would be mad
@@HadesGates lol there is so many people on other comments telling people they are dumb for informing Tyler about how biodegradable products work. Its kind of funny and sad at the same time
"I Left 5 Biodegradable Things In Water For 65 Days"
Finally, a video where I won't be concerned that he's going to hurt himself for the whole dang thing.
0:49 3:02 3:11 4:00 I was wrong.
Hahahahahah THE FIRST TIMESTAMP KILLED ME
Biodegradable doesn't mean water soluble. (Wasn't trying to be mean, just stating information, unlike the replies to this comment.)
Ik this guy is a diff kind of special
THIS NEEDS TO BE PINNED 🤣🤣
This is hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣
When I was watching this video, I started to wonder what biodegradable actually meant, turns out it means that the Earth can consume the product, but I already thought that
agreed
that sound of cutting the straw made me shiver
Same 😩
Huh? Really? It's just a little squeaky.
ASMR Tyler
Hurt my teeth
get a whetstone please tyler. that katana tore the plate, didn't cut it.
I'm a knife maker and I cringed
I cringed when he cut the straws , I really wish he would man down and get a smaller sharper knife.
What katana did you mean " Little Knife "
For real tyler please dude, Or honestly i dont think little knife was that expensive you should probably just buy a new one ngl
The next video: Testing 5 Whetstones from Wish and Amazon
Biodegradable and water soluble are two different things
It takes roughly 2 years for clay pigeons to dissolve
Eat your cereal
Cereal time
I didn't think fired clay "dissolved"......... In fact, pottery items many thousands of years old are being dug up every day.
I have clays that have sat in the same area for 10 years in tbe weather they're still there
Nancy Curtis dissolve was the only work that I could think of
aint they ment to degrade with some sort of action like a river or sea chuck them in the tumbler with water and see what happens
Yes, just water alone is not enough. To have a true test he should also add microbes, bacteria, plants, and waste eating animals to an enclosure with the substance, and then check to see if it is biodegrading.
most of them with bacteria and other environmental factors instead of just water
Tumbler and mud that's brilliant maybe a bit if grass and tin can style garbage too!! Great idea the tumbler. Resembles the ecosystem more. A regular sandwich baggy would make a great comparison too!
I think the point is all the items are sustainable.. nothing plastic, only natural materials that should "wear down" to nothing. Plastic would be 100% identical after 60 days.
Those poop bags though... Those look like a rip off. They didn't even soften much.
Soil
leave a like if you want him to put the same biodegradable stuff in Drano. all right see yah.
Bacteria needs to get at it to biodegrade, but being in water just makes it wet
Water isn't wet! By saying something is wet it's inferred that there is an object involved. Water cannot be poured on itself. Water is a liquid, not something that can be wet!!
@@TheCanamman01 i think he talks about stuff that is in water, that stuff gets wet, not water.
@@TheCanamman01 He very clearly was saying the biodegradable items we're what was getting wet.... High IQ
I wonder if he owns more than three shirts.
Then you need to watch his podcasts. He says in one he doesnt have much of them
Probably but only 3 he doesn’t mind getting dirty and such
。。。。。 I didn’t say, oh my god he wears those shirts all the time. Obviously he washes them.
This video is like my entire life...
"Nothing happened."
😔
Oof
69 likes I can’t like
ofcourse nothing has degraded, you have no water movements etc, real nature has water movement & other natural things that makes it degrade much faster then laying TOTALLY still in the SAME water on a shelf!
Not even any fresh oxygen for the smallest of bacteria to do their work, let alone decomposes like mycelium. This guy is so smart and so dumb at the same time.
Put pond water with the bio degradable materials in a ruck tumbler
Yes I agree I was wondering with that water if it was distilled or like bottled water
I feel like it would’ve done more with dirt and water. Idk
Give this guy a break, he can't do everything, he is already doing multiple things at once. Yes, he could've done better, but he did fine. It entertained me at least, but some people are just never satisfied.
Quit bitching at him he just wants to make videos in his garage he is a pretty good youtuber
How many "things in a jar" experiments do you have going on at any one time? Do you have an area in the garage with like 50 jars just sitting around? And if so, can we see that?
That mannequin is staring into my soul
I cant watch without looking at it
👀
Its hard not to look at😹
The thing I like about these videos is that not every one of them will be successful, yet, he still manages to make the video entertaining enough to want to see another video.
I love that when the straw didn’t fit the first time, he had to pick it up and drop it in 2 more times. Ya know just to be sure.
They break down if they are in soil.
I think someone mixed up “biodegradable” and “water soluble” . Biodegradable would work better in a compost situation .
biodegradable doesnt mean waterdisolvable... the clays would probably have been biodegradable after being shot and turned into powder, you just wet a load of things... put it in something like vinegar or some sort of acid and most stuff would have disolved completely :D
Biodegradable things need the air to biodegrade🤣can't do that trapped in an air right container
Nobody.
Tyler: 2+2=5
Nerd
Acid haha thats the funniest shit i've ever heard and you have never shot a gun at a clay target it don't turn to powder
Nobody gives af
The running joke of him calling the katana his 'little knife' is the best running gag
You should seriously consider using tape to wrap the jars so you can't see the results until we do together. Imagine not knowing until he pours it out.. Like so he can possibly see! :)
I really hope for "I left ..... in ..... for 365 days"
I want to see a clip at the end of one of these video where you just show us the carnage that is your floor after filming lol
If they were agitated in the water like how they would be in nature they would've probably degraded more
You know, i love it, he doesn't do like 10h intro, directly to the stuff! RESPECT !
Dude I'm pretty sure it takes years for things to biodegrade
i think it also need UV from sunlight
It’s called degrade
I’m waiting for the day where he loses a finger to his “small knife”.
Leaving my finger in flex glue for 30 days
Good to see everyone is accustomed to his cutting techniques
Should of used that “ELECTRIC” hammer!! 😂
Yay another vid :)
That brown gunk in the Q tips is what cost more.
This is the only youtuber who manages to prove nothing in a video and still have it be entertaining
You're missing the bio part of biodegradable. You should have put them in a jar with soil maybe a banana peel a little bit of fertilizer. Something to start a chemical reaction it will break it down
It takes water and air for something to biodegrade. Jars all had lids on them.
JETMAN80 He should try it in swamp/creek water.
and bacteria and fungi
should have just bent the straws to fit them in :)
PeTePyE nobody cares
I just love Tylertube
"amazing sounds incoming"
I almost threw up 😭😂😂
"So litmobile just sent me this new wireless battery pack"
Sorry you’re going through litmobiles torture as well...
What's going on why did they just explode like that out of nowhere
@@its-remiiii its a promotional run. someone is putting money into that company for advertising enough that you can see it
I’m disturbed by the guy in the background help me

Tyler:this is so unpleasant Also Tyler:*grabs infinity gauntlet*
I feel as if a lot of you forget that these videos are based off Tyler’s comment section suggestions as clearly stated at the start of the video...
There’s no need to be rude to Tyler really🤷🏽♀️
Educate yes, in a rude way no.
I haven't watched the video yet...
I just want people to see my Beard 👌
James Parker u could braid that
Im loving the content, thank you for working hard.
Strong man Tyler just decides to smash the clays with his hand I love it 😂😂😂
2:54 great way to lose some fingers
If he was gonna lose some fingers why would he have a katana/sword?
this dude cut PAPER STRAWS with a machete instead of just....bending the straws. this man is my spirit animal
“man these things smell weird... jeez” idk that was so funny to me and the face he made lmfaoooo
Lol u holding the hammer like that was hilarious for some reason
Tyler is evolving
2:52 gave me chills...thought this was gonna be a hospital trip blog
Lol when you announced how long it’s been 😂😂😂 I’ve been a follower since the beginning love your videos!
In this episode, Tyler learns about rolled plastic bags
The sound of when he was cutting those straws hurt my teeth 😂🤣😂
Suggestion: Tyler leaves biodegradable things underground for one year
It’s almost 6 am and I decided to check UA-cam real quick and I’m not disappointed
I love your videos respect the patience and effort
i love how genuine and wholesome tylers content is alot of youtubers are just in it for the cash grab so their content is uninteresting and half assed thankfull for people like tyler
“Those things are not pleasant”
Maybe I’m just sleep deprived but I cracked up
Keep it up Tyler man love your stuff 👍
words cannot express how stressed I feel when he cuts things
Wow I’m surprised. Great vid! 👍
"How do these work?" Like every other roll of bags you come across Tyler.
Its fun to have a shooting clay thrown at you. Thanks Sam for throwing that at me at 2 feet away.
Yo Tyler, I think it would be a good test to use these same 5 items and leave them under soil for 30/60 days maybe in you’re garden somewhere or in boxes of soil?
@TylerTube, please make more leave things in jars for 30 days videos. They are my favorite and you're hilarious even if the outcome didn't go as planned. I'm here for your personality haha
Most “biodegradable” items take years to actually break down
Love the upload, definitely won't see any degrading with these in standing water though! 65 days, water+what you did in this video+rock tumbler.
Crushes clay
:snorting in background
Love ur vide dude keep up good work
This whole video I was like "don't cut your fingers! Don't slice your fingers!" 😂
I think tyler is a time master who can things accelerate into the future
Tyler: “let me grab my little knife (grabs sword)” me: well dang that’s a lovely small knife ya got there
Should have kept this video son 😂😂😂
this is why we love you, you’re real.
Comment section: Big Brain
Tyler tube : Smoll Brain
That's not nice : D
Love your stuff Tyler. You put a crap ton of effort into these and I appreciate it. Been here since your first couple vids
The sword...you always make me extremely nervous with that thing
Tylertube this is a great topic that only you would embrace. I'm saying this four seconds into the interview. I can hardly contain my excitement about what will unfold, gj. Again I'm saying this in advance in purpose tylertube because I enjoy what if scenarios no one else will look at. P.S. please always do never hurt yourself. Love the show!!
You definitely need to do an asmr with those cutting noises 👌🏻💯😂❤️
“Maybe my little knife will work” (pulls out a sword)😂
Even if nothing happened it was still a great vid. Keep em coming mate!
Biodegradable does not mean just water, but that certainly plays a large part in it. To put it to a true biodegrading test, you should put it in an enclosure, put half the substance in the water and half on land, then introduce micro colonies of bacteria and other waste eating animals. Check back periodically, and as long as the substance is breaking down without harming the plants/animals/bacteria in and around it, then it is biodegradable. That is what most companies mean by biodegradable.
Thank you for explaining this! I was getting so triggered haha
@@canadiangamer0812 You're Welcome!
The straw debunk was awesome and unexpected. Which fits why I watch this show. It questions the what if no one actually tries. Except here.
I like how he always says “little” knife 😂
I've got a full box of clay pigeons in my storage shed for when I get myself a new shotgun
I knew nothing was going to happen. Even biodegradable things need more than just 65 days to do anything.
My anxiety skyrocketed when you started cutting those straws
They be roasting tf outta Tyler in here💀💀💀💀
That mannequin in the background seems to want fight staring everyone out 😂 bruh
I've turned into my mother... I'm shouting "fingers!!!!!" At the TV while Tyler uses his "knife" 😆
Couple things....
1) I like the vids, really entertaining
2) biodegradable doesn't mean water soluble
3) a sword is not a saw
4) a dull sword is less effective than a spoon when it comes to cutting or slicing.
This starts out as a Candy Crush video with fake candy.
Man I've followed you for ever now please tell us all how you learned time travel
