@@JakeandJoelareMagic sleeper series since we don’t get a chance to even enjoy the sets before another one , so things are always slipping through the cracks. Aragorn 3 ways as it is so open. Ognis 3 ways. Traditional haste bois, maybe a fun flair with fast poses and than mean with theft and sac. So many hidden gems in the last year that was missed. We are just bombarded with so much. And from so many places.
Etali has been my passion project since it came out and for some reason at release everyone was hiper focused on the back side and getting mana to flip it. I actually showed in EDHRec since on the first few days it had few “clone/blink” cards on the recommend lists making me do some MTG research for a change. For me the back side is basically flavor text and a nice method to keep my foil copy from curling (since it’s foil in both side it doesn’t curl hahaha) One game I had lethal if I flipped it and the mana to do it and my opponent was the one to remind me since I basically didn’t remember that side existed. It’s stupid powerful glad to see your take in the ETB abuse deck.
I'm so happy for this and I like that you chose three different commanders as well. Recently I a table that was doing all mean decks and I didn't have one so I'm happy the series is back back!!!!!
I wish Pantlaza had some keywords. A vanilla 4/4 is kind of a weak body. I think I will try a Hunting Grounds/Lurking Predators/Scroll Rack package with this commander. Also, Roaming Throne seems insane here. (doesn't work with Pantlaza though)
@@JakeandJoelareMagic also I'm surprised you skipped talking about Gishath, the og dino daddy or Zacama but I guess those are old news at this point. I do think I prefer pantlaza over Gishath in the command zone
I wish Indominous Rex wasn't sultai, he looks super fun to build, but I just built stupid sexy Ian Malcolm and don't like having multiple dexks with the same color identity outside dimir/grixis (my favorite color combos so i make an exception for them)

Re: Etali: Hellkite Courser does not increase tax since the commander was not cast from the Command Zone, it was "put onto the battlefield"

it's crazy how more and more I see Roaming Throne crawling its way into every Commander list
