How to Render Cars with Markers & Airbrush - Tips & Technique w/ Pinstripe Chris

In this video I share a little insight in to my take on Traditional Renderings using Markers & Airbrushed Paints on Marker Paper. I really hope that some find this format helpful as I was once looking for the same info about how to approach this style as well. I am not a 'trained' artist in the sense that I did not go to school for design or artwork- what I've learned has been thru trial and error and being inspired by some of my favorite artist/designers like Chip Foose and Steve Stanford.
Total Working time: 1hr 55mins
Materials Used:
-Paper: Canson Pro Layout Marker Paper
-Sketch/Line work: Bic Pen
-Markers: Chartpak (warm/cool/basic), Prismacolor Neutral Greys, and Sharpie
-Airbrush: Iwata Hp-Ch
-Airbrushed Paint: Createx Illustration Paints
-Pencils: Poloychromo and Prismacolor
-Paint Details: Holbein AcrylaGouache

I'm old school, so I may not get exactly why it seems to me that there needs to be more "tire".
It looks like there's no rubber on the wheels.

It’s a design thing for artwork (going really skinny on tires) and sometimes I push it a little hard. On designs that are spec’d more specifically I’m a bit more careful with things like that 👌
