He just did he's been putting out video's of picture's of car's.
I pretty much do the same thing I have a sketch book I draw in before I start to build something to get an idea on what material's I need and what it will look like before I start to build it. Even though the plans can change during the build but I still have a drawing so other's that is helping me know what I'm doing kinda like blue prints.

Chip is dropping some OG art instruction here. Especially the tracing/cheating bit. He's 100% correct. Pros use it as a base to save some steps. Amateurs use it as a crutch. You pull what you need from reference and your knowledge makes it look better than the reference. What Chip is doing isn't really cheating/tracing. He's doing an old composition method. Draw your elements on tracing paper (Chip's using a marker paper here), cut them out and compose them. Tape 'em down and overlay a clean paper and redraw them cleaner. Same thing as shifting elements in layers. Thanks for these vids Chip!

hi chip, im a mustang nut and i pretty much did the same thing with a 1940 ford truck. i found a cobra mustang at a junk yard and transplanted the cobra drive train into my truck. we even custom built a independent rear. all the rest was all cobra. its a very nice looking 1940 ford f series.

At first I wasn't sure but the more he drew and talked about it the more I kinda love the idea. Let's see an interior sketch. I'm thinking the classic Bronco is probably 3 or 4 inches narrower than a modern Mustang so adapting a reproduction shell might dictate a stretch of the body's width.

The Bronco is body on frame while the Mustang unibody. I don't think the very light Bronco body can substitute strength wise for the Mustang. I think you would be better off building a rectangular tube frame that will take a Mustang drive train and suspension. You can get everything you need from Ford Performance or the after market. U-Wish Street Rods in Jonesboro, Arkansas is building a Bronco for off road driving. They were barely able to shoe horn in a Coyote. You should consider a short extension forward of the cowl. Six inches would complement the drop, improve the ride ang generate enough room so that the motor's front mounted accessory drive can be serviced without pulling the front clip off. .
