The NYC ambience has always been music to my ears. The peaceful delivery on a fixed is dope to get an experience of. I ride fixed but my home area isn’t the best place for it. Seems pretty cool in NYC. Thanks
One aspect of the United States that I find challenging is the generally high noise level in restaurants, bars, and pubs. I live in Vienna, and dining out in my hometown is quite a different experience. When going on a date, it's almost as if we have to raise our voices to have a conversation, and I struggle to comprehend why that's necessary. When I travel abroad, it's often easy for me to identify Americans solely by their volume when speaking. Interestingly, many of them seem to adapt to European standards of quieter dining when they spend some time here. Please don't misunderstand me; I genuinely appreciate the warm and friendly nature of Americans. I haven't had the opportunity to dine in some of the more upscale restaurants in the USA, which I understand can offer a more tranquil atmosphere. At times, I yearn for company in a more relaxing setting, but it appears that this privilege is often reserved for wealthier Americans.
@@Sebastian_Koenig_ You're telling me London or Amsterdam are quiet? Its like any big cities, the reason you think Americans are loud is probably because you only travel to large cities mostly due to the popularity. Plenty of small quaint cities in any country, but they are mostly left untouched by tourists. Also as a tourist you are probably in the busiest parts of the cities as that is where tourists dwell, which by nature is gonna loud.

Hey man I was watching a video from last year when you switched from gig deliveries to starting a new job for a company as a bike courier. Do you still do that or did you switch back to gigs on Uber Eats permanently? If so, what made you go back? Thanks! (I've been enjoying the videos btw)
Typically snugged between your belt and your shorts/pants. The wider portion of the lock (receiving end) keeps the lock from slipping since it is held by the belt.
Fixie refers to any bike that has a fixed back wheel (you can't coast). Track bikes refer to bikes used for well, tracks (velodrome). Track bikes are usually fixies as far as I'm aware
track bikes are specifically for racing, so higher grade materials and parts. afaik track bikes got no auxilliary brakes as on a race track you dont need to brake, while normal day fixies sometimes do, also fixies are more casual, f.ex more comfortable upright geometry for long rides and less stiffness in the frame for any bumps (?)
Track bikes means they belong and pass track rules (drop bars, high bottom bracket, no coast, etc). “Fixie” is a word that mostly beginners use to say “fixed”. So all track bikes are “fixies” (fixed) but not all fixies are track bikes.
Just got my fixed gear yesterday really excited rode for a couple hours, now my butt hurt so bad. It's been 10+ years since i was last ride a bike. Is there any way to prevent my butt from hurting or my butt will used to it?

@JoseLopez-xv4fc I still have the front break on mine.. once I get much better at stopping without breaks. I'll remove the front break. Maybe in a month or so. After that I'll be riding just like this lol Try it out

Mounts are for people who don’t know the city very well and need to look at their gps constantly. It’s honestly safer this way because you’re not looking at your phone and can focus on the road.
