Not once in my life have I had a pleasent experience with those damned things. Phones, games, it doesn't matter, in the end you go through a whole pack of covers because each attempt before blows up in your face. Why can't these things just... come already ATTACHED??
Otherwise good, but it's better *not* to completely remove first sheet before start applying it. Instead, remove just start of it, press protector on screen and peel more of the first sheet as you apply the protector on screen. This eliminates changes of dust particles getting to protector and you don't have to hurry up the process.
I bought my phone last week and those people refuse to put the screen protector for me unless I pay money, seriously.. Am glad I saw this video, hopefully I'll do it perfectly. Thank you👏😍😘.
A L What if the steam goes through the phone ports (headphone jack, speaker grill) and then condensation happens and now there's water in your phone that can potentially damage the phone.
You made a big mistake. Before you even clean the screen, match up the protector to your screen so you have a good idea of exactly where you're going to try to put it. Then clean and immediately peel the first layer.
I did get a Zagg at first, but the problem was that because it covered the whole front it wouldn't work with my case (it would bubble at the ends or peel). That's why I got one of these screen protectors. But usually, I go with Zagg because I think they're better overall.
Tutorial: 1. Watch this video 2. Try to put yourself the foil 3. To much dust but you still try to put it on 4. Give up ,throw the foil and go crazy because you waste the money
I took it slowly. Maybe about 10 minutes or more. Tape in the middle and top left and bottom left corners. I used a slightly damp microfiber cloth. I let it dry a bit after the screen was slightly damp. Wiped off the wet residue on the screen until everything was crystal clear. Then used the tape to pull off dust. After the dust was off completely, I pulled the back side off slowly. Then the front side slowly. What I ended up with was a virtually bubble free screen. There was only a bubble on the top right of the phone but that wasn't on the screen. Excellent video and am glad I bravely did this.
yeah i tried doing that and failed miserably. went to a phone shop in a mall and the nice lady did it absolutely perfect and i gave her a 100% tip, if you are not good with this sort of stuff like i am don't bother, just go to a professional:).
I got a screen protector off amazon and I had hard time putting it on straight perfectly so my finger prints got on the sticky part and I tried putting it on again it had too many stuff on it so I gave up im not throwing it away.. yet also I my got a case and I put on it and the power button wont mash on it!
*The biggest secret to applying a screen protector* Run a hot shower as hot as you can get it, door closed, fan off, for about 15 minutes. So much so that the mirror in your bathroom starts to sweat. When you do this the steam weighs down the dust floating in the air and brings it to the floor. Then go in, close the door and keep running the hot shower (not necessary but as a precautionary measure) wash your hands very very well, then apply it to your phone. I've been doing this for years and have not had a single problem since.
Thanks a lot for this video, bought a new s4 and messed up with the screen protector the first time, luckily I had this the second time and it came out bubble-free!
I recommend not pealing the hole back side, just a bit, then aligning it with the top and start to work your way down. as you do so you will peal the hole plastic and you should be good to go. This way you'll prevent the dust sticking on the glue of the protector itself. Worked for me 3 out of 4 times.
Thanks! I just got a new phone and I bought 2 screen protectors and completely ruined the first one trying to put it on! This helpd a lot so thank you!
Helpful video, and thanks. By the way, which weather and clock widget is it that you're using? I like the old flip-numerals look and haven't seen that one in my default apps.
You people need to gets life's stop hating on this guy .. This video helped me out I watched it after wrecking 2 screen protectors and got this one on mint .. Bottom to the top is the key and the bathroom is a perfect spot to do it with bright lights from above the mirror/medicine cabinet :) thanks for the video man and I hope my comment helps a little.
Finally my screen is successfully protected, shortly after I watched your tutorial. You make it easy. I only got two small bubbles at the edge but its ok. Thank you so much. God bless you👌👍😘
This is the 3rd time that I watched this and I did it as I watched you, I still got a few small bubbles but it's better than my firs time. The first time I peeled the number 1 side off and laid it down and when I TRIED to pull the 2nd TAB off I couldn't get it all the way off. After watching this and doing mine at the same time I realized what I did wrong- I left the 2nd covering on the phone ! Duh !!!!! Thanks for the video, now my phone is responding to touch better as well as protected from scratches !
you guys make it so hard for yourself lol, peel just abit of the first layer off then put the first inch of the screen protector down then peel the rest off while applying the screen protector at the same time. this way you dont get finger prints, or it flying off your finger while your trying to put it down in one go or any dust while your moving it around and also no air bubbles. peeel and apply sheit i think i need to make a video of this
Easier said that done mate, i just applied one soooo carefully and yet I still have about 30 bubbles underneath, and i tried lifting it numerous times to redo it and still had bubbles! The bloody thing is s nightmare to do, i don't make it easy for myself though, I'm doing it on a 10" tablet screen by the way, not a phone
"Try to put the protector on as quick as possible after cleaning the phone" *proceeds to waste time talking about the quality of his screen protector and where he got it*
Same brand protector. Hmm, still have a few bubbles, but it does the job as you can't see them when the screen is illuminated. The place offered to put it on for a charge, but I said I'd do it myself. Perhaps if I replace it I won't be so stingy. They aren't permanent so no worries. I wonder if they have a trick of their own.
I did it today, not perfect i have one small bubble at the end but honestly I'm happy with it, I thought it would be much worse, I think the trick is as you said , is to do it fast and without shaking
Once I got a screen saver and tried to put it on but I took it off cuz I messed up and then it became covered in dust that I couldn't get off. Then I tried to wash it off with water but a ton more dust got on. I thought I had to buy a new one but then I decided to use a lint roller on it and it took off all the dust!!
important tip: keep a clear adhesive tape handy... use it to take out any dust that are causing the bubbles. You can also use the tape to lift the screen protector off the phone without risking to crease/bend it accidentally. peace.
After watching other videos, your the only one who mentioned that "you have to do it really quikly and apply the cover because the just bad if you take your time" which was the best tip and the only thing anyone needs. Fuck I went through 3 covers and after watching yours, it only took once! Apreciate it bro!
Going to get a mirrored screen protector in a week so i need some tips xx im really scared to try but exited because i think theyll only give me 1 in the packet!!
This looks like a pretty good install. I've only 1x, in many attempts EVER managed to get close to this. I'd happily pay someone to do it for me, providing I could get a bubble free result, but I've found that, even if you ask someone at the Carphone Warehouse, they'll gladly take your money but the result isn't always perfect. Better still, why don't the people who make these things come up with some form of glass that is really scratch resistant? IMO, all these cases/protectors are a con.
There is a chinese manufacturer, Zopo, that does exactly that. Every phone i've bought from that brand (Zopo ZP500+ and my actual phone, a Zopo C2 Platinum) had a pre-applied screen protector. Two, in fact, the one with the specs on, and a clear one behind. No bubbles and perfectly aligned.
just had mine coming from e-bay. could not apply without bubbles, tried to re-apply but it was not perfect and created bubble at the corner due to re-application. GARBAGE.

Some phones nowadays have pre-applied screen protectors right out of the box. This should honestly be adopted by every single phone company out there.

I just applied a screen protector for the first time and got zero (0) bubbles :) it’s all thanks to you. Thank youuu 💕💞
In Mumbai, kids at railway stations do these things in 30 seconds. Perfectly too! As they say, 'let the experts do their own thing'.

Didn't work for me, got so frustrated that i crumpled the screen protecter into a a ball...

I did this and it came out amazing. Thanks so much! I finally know how to put on screen protectors lol.
Oh my goodness. Really?!?!? It is sooooo hard
dooood lucky
This method is definitely the best. Barely any bubbles. Thank you.
Ended up with 1 small (ish) bubble, not bad for a first attempt. Thank you for the guide, it helped enormously.
Tutorial:
1. Watch this video
2. Try to put yourself the foil
3. To much dust but you still try to put it on
4. Give up ,throw the foil and go crazy because you waste the money

Use glass screen protectors. They offer better protection, are easier to apply and leave less air bubbles which can be squeezed out easily.
just had mine coming from e-bay. could not apply without bubbles, tried to re-apply but it was not perfect and created bubble at the corner due to re-application.

i have done it successfully although there are some bubbles but they're unnoticeable still I am satisfied with the results
I just wasted 5 of the buggers before looking up this video. I think the air here is 30% dust.
At least i know now that it's the dust making the bubbles; so thanks!
