People love him or hate him.
He has the best fleet, the most sought after destinations, the very best business class, a best in class premium lounge facility at Doha, and a service that is second to none. He speaks honestly and tells it like it is. I've heard that when the sales teams at Airbus and Boeing have planned meetings with him, they practise for weeks 😅
Love him or hate him, but you'll always learn a thing or two when you listen to this gentleman.
Hardly the best fleet, many still have mixed cabins, and with their constant aircraft changes, it can easily lead to dissatisfaction.
Emirates is better. It is surprising that they did not win anything

I appreciate Mr. Al Baker calling out the SAF problem and the added cost; the fuel is coming but not anytime soon especially without any real SAF infrastructure. I mean this fuel seems to be decades away from being practically used throughout the world anyway.
Qatar is a great airline. Flew in Qsuites for a business trip from Philadelphia to Riyadh. Great service
Al Baker is old school business man. Interviewer struggled to read the room and couldn’t get the most of of that interview

Best airlines in the world, I traveled with it to us west coast in an economy class and was very comfortable flight with large seat
The demand for first class has dwindled in the world over the last three decades, that's why most airlines are now have Business and economy classes in their airplanes. Some airlines has chosen to put very few First class seats in their aircrafts.

Thanks, Mr. Al Baker! I've been a loyal customer of Qatar Airways and Emirates since 2012. I've always been impressed with your products and services. However, I think it's time for Riyadh Air to take the lead. I've been following Riyadh Air's progress closely, and I'm impressed with what they've been able to achieve in a short amount of time. They have a strong team of experienced executives . i believe that Riyadh Air has the potential to be one of the leading airlines in the world Soon , it drive it ambition from 2030 vision .

Not the same as before. Never fly with them again. Recently, They only allow one hand carry item. usually, even with budget airlines, one hand carry item with one hand luggage are allowed on board.

Supply chain issue for not delivering the orders!! The order did not have an closure clause!! I presumed by the time the chickens are ordered the meat will no longer be edible.

I agree with other comments here. QR are THE best certainly in the Middle East, Hamid Int'l Airport is sublime, and also as stated here below by others, QR cabin crew are the very best.
Qatar Airways is a truly 5* airline in the air, AND on the ground.
However, I have two gripes with them, the first is they 'sold out' their route Doha-Helsinki allowing Finnair to take over the route completely. Sorry, but Finnair, are not even on the same planet as QR, let alone being in the same field - awful, awful service.
As I use this route at least 4 times per year, I now fly via other cities such as LHR, Oslo or Munich and connect to/from Helsinki with a change of flight, as this is much preferable to 7 hours with Finnair.
The second is that due to the pandemic, their service to Dubai DWC ceased, and I would love for them to return to this route.

What a joke. Qatar airways laid off 25% of its workforce, including 1200 pilots. In addition, took from 30 to 70% of wages as an act of solidarity and to protect jobs. I may add, that this was for expats only, locals were exempt. So to talk about governments compensating companies to keep staff on board…. Look at your own garden first, before you tend the gardens of others.
With 22 years in the Middle East, my belief is their is just too much of everything, and it is dangerous, people and companies suffer at the end of the day, fail & fold.....

Qatar airways is Number one in service compare to all others …. One of the best of the other airline in the world the airline staff even didn’t responds when I asked for a glass of water after they gave snacks …🤷♂️🤷♂️
