Its not a reskin its on a completely new engine with new features and better graphics we are not even seeing an actual trailer or much game play at all. Fs25 looks way better than the cartoon graphics fs22 has.
@@fordfarmingpower2099 Yeah i'm not buying the sales pitch. I've owned every FS from 15 to 22 and this is the first release that, based on the trailer, I've decided not to purchase at release. Giants has undeniably become lazy and has been resting on the success of former releases and for years. They are going to have to innovate a bit more and at least make the world feel alive before I spend my money and I have read a lot of other people saying the same thing. Fog and rice isn't going to do it.
@BookerDeWolffe I haven't forgotten about mods DLC's or other post launch content i'm saying that Giants IMO didn't put enough effort into the base game to make me want to pay full price at release.
@BookerDeWolffe You are talking about a multimillionaire company. They have the resources, and they easily can upgrade the Giants engine. They simply don't do that beacuse it's more profitable that way. Fans still buy the game, after a while mods become good and game sales peak again. Thats just a sales strategy. I'm playing since the Landwirtschafts simulator 2008 and back than upgrades on the games are really good. 2013 to 2017 is the same game reskinned, 2019 is the current engine and 2022 is less optimized 2019 with better gameplay elements but less mod support. I have a ryzen 7 seriea cpu, rtx4060 gpu, 32 gigs of RAM but i still have FPS issues when try to run FS22 with DirectX. Using Vulkan iş solved my problems but still at least they can optimize the games
@BookerDeWolffe You are talking about minor dips, ı'm talking about FPS drops like 150 FPS to 26 FPS. I still think it's garbage, but it's our garbage. I probably spent 3000+ hours in Total since FS 2008. Still enjoying it. But it doesn't change the fact that it's not optimized and also Giants depending on mod creators. Modding community is carrying the franchise in my opinion. Vanilla FS is also fun for me, but it's easy to eat up the whole content in 2-3 days. So mods for the win lol
Not seeing anything that makes me want to pay full price here. Another low effort reskin by Giants.
