- CARVED COPPERHEAD WALKING CANE
Fall is here, so I took a day off from carving and headed out to the woods to gather some firewood before winter sets in. This copperhead cane was carved entirely from one piece of naturally crooked, Lodgepole Pine.

The Making of Wood Carved Rattlesnake Walking Cane #43
This is a real man: kind, gentle, and tough as a pine knot. 🥰😍
If any one ever wondered what it's like to live in peace and be so humble. Loved every bit of the video
Very kind of you! Thank you very much!
Mr Stinnett you have golden hands & your work is priceless thinks for posting such nice work
You're welcome and Thank you very much!
you are such a peaceful man. I hope you have a happy life. I love watching your art
Thank you! I really do have a happy life!
Not only are you a master carver... I'm in awe of your painting skills and steady hand... Pearl makes me smile, the music is so soothing and your voice just puts the cherry on top... thank you for sharing these video's... I'm must starting out doing some woodworking...trying my hand at first with relief carvings...
that was so cool when Pearl closed the door; and them helped feed the fire with that last stick....your a lucky man having such a awesome dog!
I really enjoy having Pearl. She's a good little buddy.
Stinnett sticks is the boss Ross of carving
One of the few good things about forest fires, is that they do simplify gathering firewood. Beautiful work as always.
That's true. It doesn't take long to get a good load of wood when it's everywhere you look. Thanks for the kind comment and thanks for watching!
Pearl reminds me so much of my Jack Russel that died 3 years ago. I haven't summoned the courage to get another dog because she was so special that I haven't got over losing her yet. She was my shadow, just as Pearl is yours.
Yes, Pearl is half jack russel . She is a good little buddy and likes to go everywhere with us. Thanks for the comment.
OK one of your walking sticks is now officially on my needs list.
I used to go out with my step-dad and collect wood for the winter as a teenager. It's therapeutic.
Beautiful Copperhead stick you made today.
Take are now.
Kind regards.
Liz.
Thanks, Liz! Wood getting has been a big part of my life and I have a lot of fond memories of getting wood with my dad, too! Thanks for watching!
I'm glad I ran across this channel there's a person in this comments section that said this helps their blood pressure and all it also helps me LOL it's so soothing and nice to watch thanks man for helping me out and I'll help you by subscribing
At first, I simply thought this was a relaxing outdoors video (was linked to this from another website). But then you showed the process of carving the cane and... I was left speechless. You, sir, are an artist. Your carvings are absolutely beautiful. This is what you call art, not that modern stuff where they put a big block of rock and some discarded metal springs on a pedestal and call it an 'art installation'. I tip my hat to you!
Thank you very much! I appreciate the kind comment!
Your work is so beautiful they are so real looking and I love and enjoy every new walking stick you create. Please keep up the beautiful art and beautiful that God gave you. You have a beautiful soul.
Thank you very much!
Your life is peace , love and art in your soul👍👍💎💎👑👑beautiful works

Well done again, you are one with nature, and you seem at ease with your life, many people could learn from your example, I particularly like how you embrace modern carving techniques with traditional, to get the unique finish to your art. Long may you fill us with your peace.
Thanks very much, John! I appreciate that!
First time I've seen any of your videos and I must say that you are crazy talented.
Thank you!
@@StinnettSticks what is the tool you use to make the eyes?
I love how Perl is just watching and wanting to get out of the truck and be with you.but that's a safety hazerd the her
Yes. Pearl can't wait to get out and explore, but she has to wait till the sawing and chopping is finished.
I live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mtns in NC we have the luxury of hardwood for fire wood, that pine burns fast I bet. You are an artist!

You seem to know your animals. That is a pleasure in itself. Excellent detail. Most of the copperheads I found in Texas have some green color on their tails.
Yes, I know that the younger Copperheads have a green tip on their tail. Thanks for watching and I appreciate your comment.
