Just watched several of your videos on this game. I wish I could find one on strategies for a single player game, how I play most often. These are great.
I have played a bit of solo, it's mostly the same game. You focus on your production early and take some scoring cards along the way. I think there are 2 main differences. 1. It's actually harder to get Financiers and Generals because you need 5 production to get the bonus. This makes the Financier and General multipliers worse than usual. 2. You are going to see (and draft) every colour. Producing a bit of everything is good. It's not like a 2p game where you might need to focus your attention on producing more yellow than your opponent. If you produce 2 yellow and 2 blue it's fine. Take scoring cards of every colour, especially big flat points like Center of the Earth, Lunar Base, etc.
@@NoWondersTV Thanks for your reply. I have been frustrated to not be able to get more financiers/generals but it seems even the best cannot get as many in solo, too! What you say reinforces my experience and I feel less inept, best I have done is low 50's and mostly scoring in the mid 30's. I am trying to get better. It is a lot of fun, for sure. I am going to check out some videos on expansions to maybe add to the game at a later time. Love your channel, you have a new subscriber.
lol for info I didn't direspect him, I asked what would it do and when he said tiebreaker I said "ah yes fair fair fair" 😉 I play way too much solo IAWW to save myself that tiebreakers are not my automatic thought.
@@Guudys Oh sorry, I didnt hear you clearly. It felt like such a min-max tactic that wouldnt matter anyway. Only for it to win him the game. Then I guess I was the only one who didnt believe in the recycling plant.
@@anonvideo738 lol all good! That Recycling Plant was clutch! I actually thought Sam had lost cause I counted +13 with Centre of the Earth forgetting that Polar Base was gonna give a +2 thanks to the card being an Exploration building.
WOW!!!!! This was amazing!!!

@@healthytouch101 Thank you, and best of luck in your journey. The Corruption & Ascension expansion is my personal favourite!

Praise the YT algorithm
that recycling plant was amazing. I love how she disrespected it only for it to win you the game.

Haha. I was thinking it would be close but I didn't realise how close. I noticed I had the extra production anyway and thought why not.
