Ontario managed to issue yearly license plates during World War II, one of the few jurisdictions in the US or Canada that did so for 1942, '43, '44, and '45.
I found a Thai in Thailand and a Russian in Russia that make proff copies of LPs. How cool ! Even in steel iron and reflective surface too! I ordered the first copy from the XXXX archives and its perfect. WOW ....How Proff are these guys. I am going to make all the XXXX archives with these guys, from 1910 to 2000. Not for sale or resale but for me and my buddies. Private ART.
As a kid, the crown would scare the shit out of me. It looks like a couple of cold eyes staring you down with the three dots at the bottom a sinister frown.
9:04 I have a set of plates in my garage that are similar to this one and I wondering if I can still use them? They were in my house when we bought it.
@OMFGitsJon yes u can but only on the original car it was first on form 1947. but now they want u to get historic plates for those cars if its not ur daily driver and if it is they would want u to get a b plate. they are also bringing in a new plate style for green vehicles

Nice video. Ontario issued stickers for autos 1944 and 1952. Truck and trailers got the long tags shown.

Most of these plates need the application of a rust-removing solution, followed by waxing and oiling to look much better.

Great video! One comment regarding the 7-digit format plates. They were introduced in March 1997, and not in 1999 as the video suggests.
