I think it's because either they are running into understeer (being the first lap) or they are defending the position/getting ready for the long straight
They're all trying to hit the same line, but there's so many factors as to why they aren't. Trying to overtake/get better position, different tires, tire wear, aero setup, dirty air, etc.
when you have another car directly in font of you, it disturbs the air that you hit and deters you aerodynamics. In the first laps that cars are closeby it is very common to shift your line to hit some clean air and find downforce (grip). The "curva parabolica" in particular, is a long fast quasi 180 degrees turn that leads to the final straight, so drivers that want to overtake shift lines quicly to find grip for the turn and then hide again behind the car in front to hit the "slip stream" (the same dirty air that makes you lose grips during turns, can give you a boost in straights where you care more for speed than grip. Generally, the racing lines are similar in F1. In wet conditions however, this is not the case. There, talented drivers can find grip outside the racing lines depending on the amount of water, the wind and the inclination. Sorry for the long reply, but it is not a simple issue... :))
@@racerman7303 maybe you shoul compair lap times from the races you care so mutch about the pace of the cars. V10 engines would be faster in de race. If you care so mutch about that...
The safety car has just launched and is going flat out, the F1 cars are slowing down... so obviously they won't make much sound. These V6 really don't make much sound when slowing down, but on straight lines they're loud, much, much louder than the safety car or a lot of other race cars.
@@marke.8668 really, i dont know how old you are or how long you have been watching motorsport? But trust me, my first grand prix was 1983 and wec and wrc and everything since, and 2014 cars are very very quiet!!!!!!

Yup. Would have been nice to see the cars screaming towards you at the Parabolica in real life instead of the video screen. That was the entire point of me clicking on the video. I understand the fixation on the video screen for the majority of the opening lap, but once the cars reached the Variante Ascari, it was time to leave the video screen alone and actually look at the cars coming to you in real life into the Parabolica. Not seeing the cars in the video until they were well into the curve was very underwhelming, to say the least. It was as though the person was like refusing to pan more to the right while shooting the video. 😃 I repeated my thoughts elsewhere in the comment section.
You Have to consider the fact that this is a decel area but i do agree the v10s would be cool. These cars would sound great without the MGU H but they wouldnt be able to recharge the batteries nearly as fast.
I guess it depends what you like. :) Some want to see the pits, or the grid, or different passing points or whatever. I don't know if there is anything that's better or worse for a first time, it's down to so many factors that differ for everyone. I liked sitting at this seat personally. I'm pretty sure that's the medical car. First lap crashes are quite common, and typically more damaging than a mid race crash, so they are on stand by instantly, literally driving behind them for a lap.
Not gonna lie, it looks great but it's so quiet like wtf. Its the start and you cant hear anything. You're sat on the last corner, Its should be screaming 😳🙄
Sat here in 2015, which was one of the most boring races I’ve ever attended if I’m honest. I live in Melbourne so it was a long haul to watch Hamilton dominate. Next time I go I’ll sit at second chicane or Ascari
incredible all the diferent racing lines drivers take through parabolica
I think it's because either they are running into understeer (being the first lap) or they are defending the position/getting ready for the long straight
it's the first lap so ...
For that reason is the best turn in the world
It’s probably because of the downforce lost by following another car, I’d imagine they take basically the same line when freer air is there
better than the f1 cars hahhahahha
Even though they look like using the same racing line on TV, here it's clearly visible from this angle different drivers use different lines entirely!
Heatstreak like there is the perfect line but human are not perfect 😂

Safety car ahead by almost 45 seconds. Insane lead, Must've been so clean through the 1st and 2nd Lesmos and Ascari chicane

What an amazing atmosphere!! totally diffferent than watching on tv..lol great crowd too in monza!
Not even close to what it used to be. I was there in 2010 and the cars were much more impressive. You don’t even need earplugs anymore.
I get goosebumps everytime when they pass parabolica
especially the cam angle of leclerc’s last lap at parabolica
the safety car sounds better than the f1 cars
f1 cars are also miles faster than any car pre hybrid, so does it really matter what they sound like? It's the future bud get over it.
Yeah really they should put normal turbo and more boost, like in the 80s in those car. I could imagine the sound😳
