Great vid .. I've bought an
Einhell Petrol Lawn Mower GC-PM 40/1 about 12 months ago and the rear wheel drive spins when you lift the rear abs engage it but when you put in on the ground no power in the drive ...
Any tips 👍👍 and is it going to be an expense job eeeek

sounds like it could be the tension if its not driving under load, make sure there isn't grass built up around the belt as it could cause the drive to slip/not engage, if not that check the cable is pulling far enough, I wouldn't think it would be the belt being warn out if only 12 months old, hopefully that helps sort it 👍

I have the same lawnmower, it starts then cuts out after 5 secs, but when I start it and keep priming the primer the lawnmower keeps running! I'm.confused any ideas ??

That could well be the carb needing a good clean 👍

@ScottiDaniel I took the carb apart today it had so much grit etc built up on the bottom of the small tank. The jet was also blocked. I cleaned it all and got it running like new.. thanks for the input..

when you removed the air filter housing on mine theres only 1 metal dowel in the tubes that go over the holding bolts and I think theres supposed to be metal dowels in both tubes in the black plastic? if you rememeber and can help thanks haha

check the springs on the rear axle and make sure cable not come free of its location hole
