replacement. The cable pulled out of the sheaf easily complete with spring. However, the cable sheaf end is stuck so can’t pull it out via the hole in
Above continued……..the mower metal body- suggestions please - access is so poor. Ive cut the hole cover out and mower underside is accessible. Thanks in anticipation.

@@themowerman not sure if it was this video or maybe the one before you were undoing the bolts under the deck and you were using a short flexy bit extension been after one of those just like that one 👍

How do you manage to get mowers from the tip. Do you have a connection with someone who works there? . It's a no no at my local tip.
Someone I trade with had the contract to remove them..
Think I might invested some of those cables lines like that, I always run into cables that are broke

Hi m8 just wondering if you can advise me on the mountfield lawnmower please I have 1 but it doesn't look like any of the mountfield lawnmower I've seen on Google same colour but it says on the engine cover m5 mountfield. What's different to the others is apart from the two handles 1 front 1 back it in between them handles are two paddles 1 is speed control and the other 1 has 1,2,3 on it they are on a metal plate going across the top of the handle I have no idea what model it would be thanks in advance paul

Hi Mick, I have got an old mountfield LS45. I have slackened off the drive cable as I couldnt pull it backwards or barely forwards as far as I am aware this should make the wheels move freely but they still seem quite stiff? Do you know where I am going wrong as to why it still seems quite hard to push? Thanks
Maybe the bearing need looming at mate..

ive got a honda izy 466 the drive cable is vibrating and shakeing loads . what could this be mate
it still pulls on the drives ok tho not great

Hey Mick could you share the link for the cable you use, I had ordered 400' of 1/16th which works out to be 1.5mm in diameter, and 100 piece crimpable ends, lol, I received 50' of 1/8th cable, and 25 ends, what a rip off, but Amazon took care of it for me the and I gave the person a bad write up, so any help would be great tks.
