- In this video, I travelled to the outskirts of Sydney Australia to find some of the coolest creatures that New South Wales has to offer! From giant bull ants to tiny trapjaw ants, I'm sure you won't be disappointed! How bad is a Myrmecia sting, anyways?

Yeah, Iridomyrmex purpureus was definitely an ant I was hoping to see, but didn't quite luck out. I think if I had gone further inland they would have become more common, but I was unable to do that on this trip. Just leaves me more species to look for when I go back!

Where was this? My guess is blue mountains.
I really wanted to go there, but it was a little too far of a drive to fit into our schedule. This was at Garigal National Park
