Greetings Richard finally received my first NMN 28 hrs ago. Cycling I estmate a 60-70% more energy, Tennis my serve practice was 700 balls instead of 300. FIVE lbs have vapourized in those 28 hrs. Yet I'm not really hungry that is astonishing. Slept like a baby and stress levels notably lower. Could not be a happier start. Thank you for all your positivity, I may run again soon man am I impressed, keep you posted. Take care, Rich 🙂👍

You look absolutely wonderful! Congratulations on your age reduction. As you may remember, I attempted to do the same thing on my channel but just using 500 milligrams of niacinamide. Unfortunately, I was unable to monitor my age however because the company that I used to do my Horvath clock test originally showed me at 27 years old, even though I am 63. The second test they did because they realize the first test was a mistake came out at about the same age for me. Now before you get too excited because I do look younger than my age I think, my husband‘s test results also we’re way too young as they showed him in his 30s. For that reason I could never do a second video and I doubted the reliability of that test. Are used exactly the same test lab you did and it was all very disappointing. I can’t refute though you’re wonderful results. You look great!

I've been taking NMN for a couple of months and I can tell a similar story, although I haven't had any testing done, so it is all pretty anecdotal. NMN has accelerated my weight loss, which I had started by cutting carbs and running, but it had been exceedingly slow work until NMN (I've been vegan for 31 years and in the past that had been enough to keep me slim, but at 50 it was no longer effective). I have better sleep now, much more energy, and my lower backache disappeared very quickly. I feel like I did in my late teens and twenties.

NMN supplement is perfect for older people like me. I’m already 65 and has been taking NMN-vitruvin (250mg) for a couple of months. Before this, I couldn’t walk long hours in the mall while shopping with my granddaughters. I also had joint & back pains and sleep trouble. It’s awful. But with NMN-vitruvin now, it helps me do things like play tennis, participate water aerobics, and yoga. I’ve tried several brands of NMN but Vitruvin suits me the best. My friends noticed the results in the first 3 months and they started taking this supplement too. With regular exercise and healthy eating habits, we'd feel like we're back in thirties.

I've been taking NMN for 9 weeks now and this is what I can see and feel.
    I'm 64years, I've been on KETO for 3 years.
KETO worked wonders. I dropped the 4 to 5 blood pressure meds per day that I was taking, dropped 42 pounds and feel great.
Eyesight is better, colors more vivid, adapt to light changes faster, read closer.
Taste is better. I can taste the subtle flavors that I had lost. Food just tastes better all around.
Smell sense is better. I can smell things I haven't smelled in many years. Subtle scents.
Hearing is improved. I still have tinnitus but my sense of hearing is dramatically improved. No more "Huh"??
Sense of touch is improved. I can feel textures that I haven't felt in ages. I can feel my own fingerprints.
Focus is dramatically improved. I can multitask with ease again. Memory is improved.
My mood has improved. My motivation has improved. My energy level has improved and I didn't think it could get any better than KETO. I can run circles around my younger employees.
    Great stuff this NMN.

all doe I find the result very interesting and presentable it's very questionable if NMN has the largest impact on your appierance change. I still think that the biggest impact comes from your sports activities and the diet change.
The result of the next year will be far more interesting and will really show if your improvement will still be so drastic. I find it always hard to judge a result if so many changes are made at the same time without having a stable and healthy lifestyle beforehand. Since ur NAD production is increased already by exercising more adding NMN on top would ofc boost ur results but as I said you were unhealthy and are changing everything at once which doesn't give proper scientific results to prove your NAD levels are actually drastically higher just because you take NMN.
All that said your results are great and I'm looking forward to hearing/seeing more of your journey ;D
    Good luck good sir!

Hi Joe, thanks for your comment. It is a good question and I believe always a dilemma with biological systems. If you only change one variable you can test that but then the environment is unnatural but if you are in a natural environment there will be multiple factors and it is difficult to tease apart what action causes what effect. Although I think we can say that it is not down to increased activity as with COVID there has not been much of that!

But until I additionally took NMN..at only 250mg daily I did not recover a normal level of energy. I think it is possible that there is a link between the action if the 2 vitamins at a cellular level. It also indicates to me that at the very least NMN has an effect on energy levels...thus more time running and preparing healthy food. I hope for more good effects as I fully take on the regime.

I'm going to leave some general points that will shed light on the process of maintaining healthy age.
In a nutshell, it all boils down to information loss. While we age, we loose information in our DNA. This can be considered a disease - as most diseases (mostly hereditary) affect our DNA and subsequently our gene constructs. When RNA copy these affected genes sometimes "confusion" is made and proteins constructed are put in the wrong places and are treated as interchanged constructs.
So, without going into too much detail, I believe these enzymes which "repair" DNA are only really effective at "maintaining" already existing DNA. That is, if your DNA is "damaged" and methylated, there's not much that NAD+ driven enzymes can do to help.
Summary, I believe Gene Therapy + "NAD+" boosters are required for "efficient" sustenance of longevity. You first need to alter the genes (remove negative mutations or introduce new genes if necessary), then sustain it with the right supplements and or introducing the right enzymes to catalyse repair.
I don't think there will ever be a "cure" for aging as you can say it is the "founder" of all known diseases that we know today. However, like a car, you can always "repair" damage caused by this disease, which essentially would have the same effect.
    Let me know your thoughts.

My vitamin-d levels have been good for an year and half. I presume both TRT and nmn have helped sling with Reserveratol, Wheat germ extract high in spermidine. Although Reserveratol studies have been controversial about their activation of sirtuin-1.

I am in fact prescribed metformin for PCOS but gave temporarily stopped taking it as I have auto immune pernicious anemia and metformin seemed to make it worse, which is very serious. I therefore have considered Berberine. Have you found it safe long term? I am a vegan. I too have dropped sugar, although I do eat some carbohydrates...corn, brown rice and quinoa. Foods high in folate and B12 and other B vitamins are very important. I have had skin cancer and therefore I am already taking astaxanthin. Thank you for your videos. They are very encouraging. That the FDA has banned NMN doesn't matter. Take NR (niagen, nicotinamide riboside), which is the best precursor for NAD in the various cell types. Oral NMN has to drop a phosphate molecule before it can enter a cell. When the phosphate molecule is dropped, it becomes NR. Simply taking NR orally cuts out this inefficient process. Unlike NR, there is no food source for NMN directly. After NR enters a cell, it converts to NMN by picking up a phosphate molecule, and then to NAD. NR is more efficient than NMN, and is available over the counter.

As we are not lab mice, we live in an environment that everything can affect our health, good diet, exercise, good sleep etc, reversely, toxic, pollution will have bad effect on our health as well. The ultimate goal of taking NMN is to be healthier & younger, giving up all healthy habits to test whether NMN is working or not definitly is not a wise choice I think.

Do you think your transformation has more to do with lifestyle, fitness & diet behavior changes or NMN? Personally when I start doing one thing better my other habits fall in line with my new good habits. Same for when I take a pricey supplement and focus on my health. When COVID lockdown happened and gyms closed, a lot of people got healthier, walked and ran more, got more Sunlight etc... Just curious what your thoughts are?

Of course you run faster if you weigh less. Eating healthier and getting slimmer will also make you look younger. Difficult to say if NMN has anything to do with it.

Hi Martin, thanks for your comment. A couple of things I would say. What you say is true, but we are not trying to run a controlled experiment on ourselves. There are too many variables and an N or 1 (or 2) would not mean much anyway. We are trying various things to improve our healthspan. What we try will change as we learn and new things come along. We hope that sharing our info helps other people. The other thing is that at 59 just getting slimmer may not be enough to let me run faster. It could be the NMN that helps my body adjust better to the exercises.

@@ModernHealthspan It's ok you want to be more healthy, of course :-) I think we have had this discussion before, but it's almost impossible to conclude anything based on one person. You are saying that NMN could help you run faster, but there's no way to know for sure.
