The mix sounds better than many finished records from big companies. Excellent job you are doing mate. Bravo. Vtar amps maybe have the best modeling algos could say even from AxeFx.
Great job on the song! The mix sounds pretty good. I was wondering if you were using any stereo processing on the guitar bus. I'm curious if you've tried dual mono instead of stereo to retain more width.
Hi Res!! It would be great if you could ever do a review on amp sims for clean and ambient sounds to use on heavy metal songs. There is very little material on this subject.
Holy cow, I've been thinking about you this week and wondering if everything is dandy over there, but I can see you are churning out the goods like nobody's business, as usual. I still have my eye on this thing, though I'm not sure if the billing situation improved. The last demo you did with Termless is one of my favorites and I revisit it occasionally for a boost. Very glad to see you back, lad! 👑🎸🔥
This must be the SECOND time u revisit Termless!! Thus the 3rd video about it, lol. And it's still the ONLY amp I've never been able to dial a good tone out of 😩 But at this point u probably have an age old version of it? 'Cos it's been updated plenty of times. I got the latest demo version and have tried at least 3 different versions of this during its lifetime - no difference. I could try Your settings, maybe the Red Giant makes the difference... 🤔 Also this was probably the FIRST time ever ur drums sounded fake AF!! 😱 I was like "Holy shit, what is he using this time?! I gotta know?!", 'cos I knew this was something unusual... It was the hi-hats in the beginning that gave it away! Gahd damn, they sounded like straight outta MT Power Drum Kit 🙈 I dunno if u forgot to do any humanization?! But gahd damn... Quite surprised it was the new & praised Josh drums... I've heard demos of them before and they did sound good... But other than the cymbals, they sounded okay(ish) here, but easily one of the LEAST good drums u have used. I remember u once tested some pink "toy" drumset vst, they were called Pop something? These were "on par" with them, lol 😭 These needs more life - could be the lack of normalization (and reverb) though 🤷♂ But other than that, the mix sounded good 😀 Though I noticed many videos ago, that ur bass doesn't pop out like it used to. U seem to use the same setting as before, so I'm not sure what has changed. Or maybe u like it more in the back nowadays? I like it growling, like it did before!
@@clarenegracey Uh? As a long time fan and a fellow mixer and a guitar player everything I said is factual based on my observation. If u listen to this as it is, I'm sure it sounds good 'cos it does. But if u put it in context and listen to ~20 previous Res videos from the past u MIGHT understand what I'm talking about. Coincidentally, I also commented on Res' video about these exact drums a month ago and PRAISED the whole thang 🔥🤷♂ Ha, had to google "seroquel". That a pretty wild joke... has really nothing to do with audio or me though.

They are killer but would not compare them to axe fx bud
Another top video bro! Your IR's are phenomenal. I'm the dude that commented that I use your barefoot IRs. Cheers!
@@g3ng4rb0i3 cheers dude!

I love Vadim's Blades amp, currently using it on my tracks! Nice to have you back, Res!
Very nice to see you again Res!
Termless is a crazy beast that's for sure. Awesome mix and tune as usual man!
Man Vtar stuff is great! This ampsim is really awesome! Those Ir's are perfect for this amp!
What a track!
I forgot about this sim. I'm gonna have to get the Termless ASAP
just listened to some of your bandcamp. stuff is insanely heavy. tough as nails.
@@0.0_0. Cheers dude!
Wow! very nice song. Sounds like a Sikth song
I just wish this amp sim worked for macs

Just nova on the bus. Cheers.

Indeed you have a great video about the PSY amp but I mean if its possible for free
too bad it's not for mac, would be an instant buy for me

Cheers Shardz good to be back. I hardly ever really take any kind of break from videos. Nice to get away from it all to appreciate it.
I notice that where your tracks connect there is a small red fade in/fade out line. Is this better than cutting it? Thanks for your help!
@@modernroyaljams it's a default fade when you chop or split a clip. I will cross fade where necessary.

I'm with you on the Mac thing. It doesn't make sense. There is too much stuff out there for PC to get your music done.
VTarAmps are unique. Too bad there is no native Linux version
