The Long Lost Uchiha for example kakashi, we all know he is highly skilled right but in every fight kakashi was in he didnt magically have a new jutsu that completely wrecked his enemy. In every fight kakashi actually had difficulty fighting his foes. For itachi literally everytime he fought someone who was actually stronger than him or at his power level he all of a sudden had a jutsu that was extremely over powered to make itachi seem invisible.
Also, remember that he is just like 5 years older than sasuke and left the village at around age 12-13? Then caught his illness, so he might not have been able to train to get stronger. THEN, at age 17, when he's already ostensibly dying and high on pain meds and beat 3 jonin. So edo tensei Itachi who was brought back without his illness might have been only as strong as he was before he lost the ability to train and started seriously weakening. So war Itachi was only maybe as strong as he was when he was 15-ish? and that's pushing it. Had he been healthy and trained until he died at age 21 he would have definely been maybe on the same tier as madara without his EMS or rinnegan and hashirama cells. Just physically speaking and maybe a bit more skilled. Which is crazy since madara only was so biologically strong when alive because he was indra's transmigrant. Pure talent alone and with no otsutsuki haxx, Itachi may as well have been the character with the most potential and talent in the series.

mikha coffman they are equal when it comes down to using their justu. One is faster than the other in some areas of the art, but is slower in a different area. Minato takes it when it comes to who is physically faster, but itachi does have an edge over minato when it comes to who is linguistically faster. This is why itachi utilizes short one or two word justu in order to compensate for him being physically slower. While minato is physically faster, he tend to use ridiculously long justu with many words. So that balanced each other out. And of course, it's obvious that minato purposely chose that route for the soul purpose of going up against sharingan users. So you see, itachi can copy minato's justus and use it right away against him, by the time itachi finished saying the last word of the justu, with minato's speed, he would be right in itachi's face already. 😁😜 Not even kakashi dared to use minato's justu against him. LoL

I mean it was like Kabuto playing a game on pc, so Nagato was not fighting at his own and it means reaction was not Nagato's itself. So that doesn't means Nagato was defeated by Itachi. Also during that fight it was focus to kill Naruto, so Obito could do his job easier. Itachi is smart i agree, but Nagato is too. If it was Nagato himself i think it would have been for Itachi harder to do something. Also Kabuto didn't fully master Edo tensei jutsu so he couldn't use Nagato at full capability. About Itachi, he was able to get out of control so he had his full capabilities.

Not actually stronger, but he was more skilled, more composed, more intelligent. But at that point sasuke had the stronger arsenal of jutsu, especually because he had the ems already.
Itachi and minato had some of the highest skill ceilings of all time, if they got to live out their lives and not die in their 20s they would probably become some of the all time greats up there with hashirama
Itachi is one of my favorite characters for so many reasons, not just his battle prowess and strength. I know this isn't about his true power scale but I just had to say what was on my mind. I'm a younger sibling and seeing how he loved Sasuke reminded me of my older brothers. I'm gonna get a bit personal here because of how much this character means to me. I always wanted to be better than my brothers, it was the wall to over come as Itachi once told Sasuke. I'm 15 and 12 years their Jr. But again like Sasuke, he always wanted to be with his older brother and have him teach him everything, that was me the little sister. Taught me how to play baseball, swim, ride a bike, etc. I was and still am a tomboy lol I think the novels really portrayed, his true inner struggle. I know my oldest brother had alot of inner struggles that he couldnt tell me about. Due to my physically and mentally abusive mother. Both brothers would try and protect me, but my oldest truly was there for me. Taking the abuse to protect me. That was Itachi taking the burden of the village and clan on his shoulders to protect Sasuke. One thing I will say the anime trumps the manga and light novels with was the moment where Itachi is dying again, loosing himself to return to the light. He says to Sasuke, "You Will never have to forgive me. No matter what happens to you from here on out, I will always love you." Brings me to tears. I'm even tearing a bit now. Even though I had a bad falling out with my second brother because how he treated me in my adult life, I will always love him. And as for my oldest, we've never been on bad terms, and always tells me he loves me. Sorry for being a bit off topic, but thinking about the light novels and that one moment in the anime really cemented Itachi as top 3 favorite if not THE TOP character.

Itachi was able to use izanagi and izanami. He was a perfect ninja. Unpredictable, always calm and beating stronger opponents. He used his eyes and genjutsu to the full potential.
Considering this man swapped hands casually with an KCM Naruto, was giving Sasuke a hard time when they fought and could have killed him with Susanoo, wiped out the entire Uchiha alongside Obito, and stopped the Edo Tensei from Kabuto. This man would be broken if he was healthy
no not really. reanimated itachi is basically healthy itachi. Naruto was in Kcm for the entire arc and was also fighting white zetsus in that form but that dont mean white zetsu is on kcm level. Naruto just happened to be in that form when he encountered itachi and nagato. Sasuke obviously was outmatched because itachi hd the MS. MS+Base sharingan > Base Sharingan+Curse Seal, even with the sickness there's no way itachi would have lost that fight unintentionally. Obito killed the police force i.e the strong members. You gotta remember that when it came to using the sharingan, Itachi, Sasuke, Madara, Shisui and Obito were the most skilled, no other members of the clan at the time were even remotely close to those I mentioned. I bet if you put a skilled anbu in the same position you'll get the same outcome. But Obito was the one that did the heavy lifting; not that itachi didn't come accross strong members. He would have gotten slaughtered if Obito wasn't there, but they wanted to hype itachi in joining the akatsuki so they made it look like him alone. *This man would be broken if he was healthy* - This I agree with and not because of logic but because he was clearly kishimoto's favorite. When Hashirama asked where Izuna was next time they met, Madara lied and said the injuries inflicted by 2nd Hokage killed him, but Madara jacked his brother for his “light”. I’m familiar with the statue/genjutsu with two sets of eyes shown when Itachi explained everything to Sasuke, but that was pretty obviously metaphorical. Eyes are switched, not stacked for EMS.

The real person who got seriously nerfed by his illness was kimimaro...itachi's illness was in his lungs, so it didn't affect his overall power or jutsu arsenal, but only his stamina...kimimaro, however as stated by kabuto shouldn't have been able to move, he was supposed to he paralyzed, and still wrecked Lee, gaara and naruto while not going at full power, he only got serious before dying

ッAllu well Kakashi’s lighting back in the war arc was able to cut some tailed beast’s tails (mountain level) and even though Hokage Kakashi isn’t as powerful as he was in the War; it’s stated he was physically more stronger and purple lighting is a better technique than regular chidori. So I think he can cut through Kinimaru’s defense (but obviously not with ease)
Strength is one thing. From a young age itachi was powerful, but what he endured mentally as a "teen" speaks to me more. He was manipulated by some of the strongest, made a choice no teen/kid should have to. He chose to off his clan based on his knowledge OF his own clan, and orders he was given. Always loved his younger brother, tried to protect and teach him. Itachi is one of my favorite "anti-heros" of all time, in any genre.
Itachis full power would’ve been what we saw in his reanimation state but quite significantly greater strength, speed, and more potent attacks in power (his ninjutsu) because of the fact he was a reanimation when he did all he did and kabutos reanimation were at about roughly 75% their overall strength, the only thing itachi would suffer disadvantage from is his stamina which is not bad whatsoever but great however the reanimation perks were essentially infinite stamina, his visual prowess attacks also wouldn’t be able to be spammed without effect to his eyes however this itachi would still be greater than the reanimated itachi, I’d say if itachi was at full power he’d be as strong as when sasuke first awakened ems which is above any of the kage and he’d have the intelligence and the hacks to perhaps fight on a level sasuke couldn’t at that time so likely greater again though I’d say equal because of the simple effects of the mangekyou on the user and how he’d still have to pace his visual prowess use
This is incorrect in regards to Edo Tensei. When Orochimaru used Edo Tensei to revive the Four Hokages, Tobirama stated that the Edo Tensei has restored almost all of their power, and Kabuto's is an even more advanced version of Edo Tensei than Orochimaru's, meaning that Itachi would be at his prime at that point, as he no longer suffers from an illness, while Nagato was the one that suffered due to how his legs were damaged. Meaning that Itachi that fought was at full strength in his prime. Or at the very least, you could say that whatever missing power is almost negligible.
If Itachi would've been developed to his max potential he'd stomp sage Minato tf. That would be Itachi healthy and with EMS I'd say at that point he'd be EMS Madara level.
Remember when Kaguya just melted Sasuke's perfect susanoo that was sped up by switching places with his susanoo arrow? Then in a later instance proceeded to effortlessly dodge its attacks while injured and use one attack to knock Sasuke out of it? Yeah, that's what'd happen if Itachi fought her, except much worse.

@@brucewayne2265 i agree about everything but kakashi, kakashi with double mangekyo and susanoo was only momentary because of obito's chakra, it is supposedly in the rules that only the one with uchiha blood can use susanoo but kakashi had plot no jutsu so yeah. But even at that point, if kakashi and itachi battle's only with sharingan on itachi is still on the edge in genjutsu, taijutsu, and speed, while kakashi's only edge is stamina.
I love itachi so much but him beating madara, rinnegan sasuke, kaguya is just ridiculous. I can only say that perhaps itachi may have the chance to beat ms sasuke or ms madara but not both these guys with ems, ems gets rid of the straining so both madara and sasuke at that point could spam all there mangekyo jutsu while even perfectly healthy itachi would strain after using it for a period of time. If itachi had ems then it would be a different story, he may have been one of the strongest in the series probably stronger than ems sasuke because even at that point itachi was still better than sasuke at genjutsu, taijutsu, hand seals, and speed except sasuke can already spam his ms abilities but not rinnegan sasuke or even rinnegan madara with hashirama cells. Let alone 10 tails madara or kaguya.

Still the same, to unlock the rinnegan you have to combine ashura and indra chakra which turn to hagoromo, itachi isn't the reincarnation of indra, if any uchiha could unlock rinnegan randomly then obito will unlock it too since he got hashirama cell (ashura chakra)

The Long Lost Uchiha for example kakashi, we all know he is highly skilled right but in every fight kakashi was in he didnt magically have a new jutsu that completely wrecked his enemy. In every fight kakashi actually had difficulty fighting his foes. For itachi literally everytime he fought someone who was actually stronger than him or at his power level he all of a sudden had a jutsu that was extremely over powered to make itachi seem invisible.

Also, remember that he is just like 5 years older than sasuke and left the village at around age 12-13? Then caught his illness, so he might not have been able to train to get stronger. So edo tensei Itachi who was brought back without his illness might have been only as strong as he was before he lost the ability to train and started seriously weakening. So war Itachi was only maybe as strong as he was when he was 15-ish? and that's pushing it.
Had he been healthy and trained until he died at age 21 he would have definely been maybe on the same tier as madara without his EMS or rinnegan and hashirama cells. Just physically speaking and maybe a bit more skilled. Which is crazy since madara only was so biologically strong when alive because he was indra's transmigrant.

Minato takes it when it comes to who is physically faster, but itachi does have an edge over minato when it comes to who is linguistically faster. This is why itachi utilizes short one or two word justu in order to compensate for him being physically slower. While minato is physically faster, he tend to use ridiculously long justu with many words. So that balanced each other out.
And of course, it's obvious that minato purposely chose that route for the soul purpose of going up against sharingan users. So you see, itachi can copy minato's justus and use it right away against him, by the time itachi finished saying the last word of the justu, with minato's speed, he would be right in itachi's face already. 😁😜

I mean it was like Kabuto playing a game on pc, so Nagato was not fighting at his own and it means reaction was not Nagato's itself. So that doesn't means Nagato was defeated by Itachi. Also during that fight it was focus to kill Naruto, so Obito could do his job easier. Itachi is smart i agree, but Nagato is too. If it was Nagato himself i think it would have been for Itachi harder to do something. Also Kabuto didn't fully master Edo tensei jutsu so he couldn't use Nagato at full capability. Itachi is one of my favorite characters for so many reasons, not just his battle prowess and strength. I know this isn't about his true power scale but I just had to say what was on my mind. I'm a younger sibling and seeing how he loved Sasuke reminded me of my older brothers. I'm gonna get a bit personal here because of how much this character means to me. I always wanted to be better than my brothers, it was the wall to over come as Itachi once told Sasuke. I'm 15 and 12 years their Jr. But again like Sasuke, he always wanted to be with his older brother and have him teach him everything, that was me the little sister. Taught me how to play baseball, swim, ride a bike, etc. I was and still am a tomboy lol
I think the novels really portrayed, his true inner struggle. I know my oldest brother had alot of inner struggles that he couldnt tell me about. Due to my physically and mentally abusive mother. Both brothers would try and protect me, but my oldest truly was there for me. Taking the abuse to protect me. That was Itachi taking the burden of the village and clan on his shoulders to protect Sasuke.
One thing I will say the anime trumps the manga and light novels with was the moment where Itachi is dying again, loosing himself to return to the light. He says to Sasuke, "You Will never have to forgive me. No matter what happens to you from here on out, I will always love you." Brings me to tears. I'm even tearing a bit now. Even though I had a bad falling out with my second brother because how he treated me in my adult life, I will always love him. And as for my oldest, we've never been on bad terms, and always tells me he loves me. Sorry for being a bit off topic, but thinking about the light novels and that one moment in the anime really cemented Itachi as top 3 favorite if not THE TOP character.

no not really. reanimated itachi is basically healthy itachi. Naruto was in Kcm for the entire arc and was also fighting white zetsus in that form but that dont mean white zetsu is on kcm level. Naruto just happened to be in that form when he encountered itachi and nagato. Sasuke obviously was outmatched because itachi hd the MS.
MS+Base sharingan > Base Sharingan+Curse Seal, even with the sickness there's no way itachi would have lost that fight unintentionally.
Obito killed the police force i.e the strong members. You gotta remember that when it came to using the sharingan, Itachi, Sasuke, Madara, Shisui and Obito were the most skilled, no other members of the clan at the time were even remotely close to those I mentioned. I bet if you put a skilled anbu in the same position you'll get the same outcome. But Obito was the one that did the heavy lifting; not that itachi didn't come accross strong members. He would have gotten slaughtered if Obito wasn't there, but they wanted to hype itachi in joining the akatsuki so they made it look like him alone.

A healthy itachi should be experiencing the same effects as Sasuke at the summit and should also be that strong but clearly everyone wants him to be EMS Madara level with just the MS. To put things into perspective in every fight he has he always uses a new technique and beats his opponent no matter who they are:
*Itachi vs kakashi* - Uses a special MS genjutsu, and thats ok cause by making beat the strongest jonin it shows how strong he is so thats fine
*Itachi vs Jiriyah* - Uses another special MS ability and escapes, wow ok I guess
*Itachi vs Sasuke* - Uses the Susanoo, but wait his Susanoo has and indistructable shield and a sword that can seal anyone
*Itachi vs Nagato* - Uses power mentioned above and seals away Nagato like nothing, a guy who has the abilities of the rinnegan
*Itachi vs Kabuto* - Uses a new never before heard of genjutsu that works on you even if you can't see and beats kabuto with it

So yes had he been healthy he would have beaten an alive madara with rinnegan and might have even beaten Kaguya. I say this based based on the way he is written and based on his pasts fights. Strength is one thing. From a young age itachi was powerful, but what he endured mentally as a "teen" speaks to me more. He was manipulated by some of the strongest, made a choice no teen/kid should have to. He chose to off his clan based on his knowledge OF his own clan, and orders he was given. Always loved his younger brother, tried to protect and teach him. Itachi is one of my favorite "anti-heros" of all time, in any genre.
Itachis full power would’ve been what we saw in his reanimation state but quite significantly greater strength, speed, and more potent attacks in power (his ninjutsu) because of the fact he was a reanimation when he did all he did and kabutos reanimation were at about roughly 75% their overall strength, the only thing itachi would suffer disadvantage from is his stamina which is not bad whatsoever but great however the reanimation perks were essentially infinite stamina, his visual prowess attacks also wouldn’t be able to be spammed without effect to his eyes however this itachi would still be greater than the reanimated itachi, I’d say if itachi was at full power he’d be as strong as when sasuke first awakened ems which is above any of the kage and he’d have the intelligence and the hacks to perhaps fight on a level sasuke couldn’t at that time so likely greater again though I’d say equal because of the simple effects of the mangekyou on the user and how he’d still have to pace his visual prowess use

This is incorrect in regards to Edo Tensei. When Orochimaru used Edo Tensei to revive the Four Hokages, Tobirama stated that the Edo Tensei has restored almost all of their power, and Kabuto's is an even more advanced version of Edo Tensei than Orochimaru's, meaning that Itachi would be at his prime at that point, as he no longer suffers from an illness, while Nagato was the one that suffered due to how his legs were damaged. Meaning that Itachi that fought was at full strength in his prime. Or at the very least, you could say that whatever missing power is almost negligible.

But even at that point, if kakashi and itachi battle's only with sharingan on itachi is still on the edge in genjutsu, taijutsu, and speed, while kakashi's only edge is stamina.
I love itachi so much but him beating madara, rinnegan sasuke, kaguya is just ridiculous. I can only say that perhaps itachi may have the chance to beat ms sasuke or ms madara but not both these guys with ems, ems gets rid of the straining so both madara and sasuke at that point could spam all there mangekyo jutsu while even perfectly healthy itachi would strain after using it for a period of time. If itachi had ems then it would be a different story, he may have been one of the strongest in the series probably stronger than ems sasuke because even at that point itachi was still better than sasuke at genjutsu, taijutsu, hand seals, and speed except sasuke can already spam his ms abilities but not rinnegan sasuke or even rinnegan madara with hashirama cells.
