- Kai Thompson and Blair Conklin take their newly built RC Surfers to the heaviest Shorebreak waves they could find! The results were pure fun and a lot of carnage! Catch Surf has already sold out of these RC surfers unfortunately but I think they are going to be back on the market somewhat soon.

Okay, we definitely need to have an RC Surfer Championship this summer, aren't there other RC Surfers out there? A Championship would be outstanding, maybe include it with the skimboard championship? Brutal waves there.

Now that's the way to keep, "the Boy in all of us", alive and well the older we get. Nice to see a Master Modeler get so close to Perfection in the Ultimate Toy, Full Stop!. Love them! Remember the day's when we had to make the Toy from a set of plan's, as well as the Radio and reciever. So much easier to get started in the Hobby today.
It's always great to see the RC surfer. It's weakness seems to be the hollow construction of the surfer. Have you thought about drilling small holes in it and filling the void with expanding foam.?
I keep on saying Blair RC international needs to happen. Beefs, and the Blair cuda model head to head. Great session with Kai to close to call. 😃🏄🏻♂️

Gotta check some carbon veil cloth to mix in with some very light glass cloth on the epoxy layer. Airplane builders use it for minimum weight maximum strength.

Managed to visit that beach over a few days during the past week, but missed the RC surfers competition. Unfortunately, caught a bit of your gloomy cloudy cooler weather, instead. Hope to see some of that live action in the near future, though.
